About
Westview Orchards now encompasses 188 acres of fruit trees and crops, including apples, peaches, cherries, pears, plums, nectarines, strawberries, tomatoes, asparagus, super sweet corn, 5 varieties of squash, pie and carving pumpkins. Throughout the years, Westview Orchards has evolved from a simple farm to an Amazing 18 Acres of Farm Fun, Winery, and Fabulous Food. During your visit to Westview Orchards, stock up on homegrown fruits and farm fresh vegetables. Sample fresh apple cider from the state-of-the-art Cider Mill and taste homemade confections from our bakery. Visit and pet the variety of farm animals at our petting farm. Challenge yourself, in one of our 7 acre corn mazes, play like a kid in the Kidz Korner playground. Seasonally pick Strawberries, Cherries, Apples and Pumpkins, or just sit back and enjoy a cozy wagon ride through the picturesque orchard. We invite everyone to visit Westview Orchards for a memorable day of outdoor fun. See firsthand the dedication of the 6th generation and staff, whose goal is to bring guests the highest quality fruits and vegetables, as well as a place where old fashioned values and fun are still part of the traditions. MAEAP: Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program Westview earned MAEAP verification from the Michigan Department of Agriculture in 2009 after a two year long process. What does this mean? MAEAP is a partnership effort that aims to protect natural resources and build positive communities by counseling Michigan farmers that operate farms of all sizes and all commodities on environmentally responsible agricultural production practices. To become MAEAP-verified, farmers must complete three comprehensive steps: educational seminars, a thorough on-farm risk assessment, and development and implementation of an action plan addressing potential environmental risks. To retain MAEAP verification status, a farm must repeat all three steps including MDA inspection every three years. Westview has always understood the importance of being good stewards of the land. Working with Michigan State University in 1980, Westview Orchards began implementing the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) using insect traps to monitor problem insects, and computerized weather stations to predict crop infestations. The family also implemented new planting configurations to include insect "repellent" techniques after MSU conducted research at Westview. In 1994, the family farm was recognized by the county soil conservation district as Macomb County's "Conservation Farm of the Year" for their IPM practices, use of special "prescribed" orchard grasses that reduce soil erosion on the orchard's hills, implementing trickle irrigation throughout the orchards and participating in on-going MSU research to reduce their use of materials.

Gross food standards
Aug 2020 • Couples
Gross food standards!we went in today aug 30th and when I pointed out that there were flys and yellow jackets allover the doughnuts and pies feeding off of all the baked goods in the glass case that thay were still selling to the public the 3 women working didn't care one bit about the flys and yellow jackets allover and offered no explanation as to why this was being allowed to happen with food still being sold to people, this is a severe health violation and if this is what thay do right in front of you god knows what go's on in the kitchen, will never be back

My go to place for great apple cider.
Oct 2019
Westview orchards has some the the best unpasteurized cider
around IMO. It is a tart style not overly sweet like some ciders.
They also have many different verities of apples when in season.
Be prepared they are not inexpensive here.

So-so donuts and cider here
Oct 2019 • Couples
The line here was long but it moved along well enough. There’s lots of picnic tables and some music playing outside.

The kids fun line is even longer.

The plain doughnut is reasonably price. It was $1.10 for a single donut. The small cider and donut was $3.22, not inexpensive but not outrageous considering this is our 7th cider mill today.

The plain donut isn’t bad, not super crispy or crunchy on the outside, the dough is a bit dense, but flavor isn’t bad.

The cider tasted average, was nice and warm and soothing, but didn’t have a ton of flavor.

Had the longest lines here, activities for kids here seem decent and a lot of land here for lots of folks.

Very Pricey
Oct 2019 • Family
This is a beautiful Orchard, well organized, friendly workers, well run.

So why the 2-rating, the price of pumpkins, food, rides, astronomical. I purchased two medium pumpkin and paid $15! I have been to Orchards before and never paid this much for pumpkins. One hotdog regular size $3.50.

This was my first and last trip to this Orchard.

Always lots of fun
Sep 2019 • Couples
It was very crowded for a Thursday, with kids on school field trips. The animals are adorable, especially the baby goats. Cider was tart, cold, and tasty. I tried a pumpkin donut that was moist and delectable. Always a must stop during cider mill touring!

Has a very romantic place to drink wine. The rest of the orchard is really designed for family fun. Go anytime of year and they have something going on.

A unique visit with the family. We enjoyed the variety of wines offered. They also had some cute ladies t-shirts.

So glad you took the time to visit our winery this weekend. It was a chilly reminder outside of the winter weather coming. Inside the winery we kept it cozy warm for our guests. We have a ladies Sip & Shop Night again on Thursday December 6th from 6-9. Please join us. $5 admission includes your first glass of wine or hard cider. Happy Thanksgiving.

Disappointed in fruit flips, & donuts.
Oct 2018 • Friends
Two years ago, the fruit flips actually contained fruit. I was extremely disappointed, last week. Paying $3.95 apiece, purchasing 6, various variety. Not one of them even had a piece of fruit in them. Very dry donuts. The quality has degraded . I will not ever stop there again. Way too commercialized.
