Since cross country races are held here as part of the VASA trails these are well groomed trails with easy to moderate difficulty. The woods are beautiful and quiet.

This place is so accommodating for us. Get a park home or cabin (either) make the experience great. The kids live the dodge ball at night and bike rentals are also fun. Plan on staying Sunday night to make the experience as relaxing for you as the kids. Do bring something to put on the beds. They are not like... More

This is a wonderful resort especially for children. Lots of activities for the little darlings. Great volleyball areas and playgrounds Most importantly, the office staff is OVER the top. I was in a bind and spoke with Brian and he went far beyond the call of duty to find us a spot. When we arrived he remembered and is still... More

We recently took our grandchildren to Timber Ridge Resort for a camping trip. This was a great place for them with a well maintained, heated swimming pool with kiddy wading pool and a wonderful playground area. The campsites are not paved and ours didn't have a paved patio but they were fairly level and the pull-thru was easy to get... More

The Vasa trail system abuts Timber Ridge's own trails, some of which are lighted. TR affords a convenient and comfortable place to base your skiing expedition. As previously mentioned, part of the beauty of venturing forth on the Vasa trail system from Timber Ridge is that you are not immediately faced with a two mile climb. In fact, one can... More

they do a nice job of maintaining their trails. There's enough to choose from so you can get out of the main resort and get into some decent backcountry. I used to ski here quite a lot and would get a pass by the day. They have a nice warming area in the lodge and rentals too. Good place to... More

I wish there was a "good" bubble option, in addition to average. We stayed in the cabins in late fall, and it was nice and quiet. The MTB trails are really good and convenient. It's pet friendly, and our great dane Gwen loved her walks in the morning. The cabins are rustic, but they have running water, a fridge and... More
