    The staff is very friendly and helpful for everything. We rented 5 kayaks on the beach and had an amazing time with wonderful views in the shore . Traverse city is beautiful and next time we would like to rent the pantoons which looked so good. Thank you for the incredible experince!

    Overall great experience. Friendly and knowledgeable workers to deal with. The pontoon was clean and in great condition. Perfect location for pontoon rentals… right on Grand Traverse Bay, with direct access to Lake Michigan. Perfect water… shallow sandbar areas with crystal clear water for swimming and also deep water areas good for fishing. Definitely recommend this place for all rentals.

    Excellent value
    Riding the wave runner around the beautiful bay was the highlight of our week. Water is so clean. Lots of pretty homes off in distance. Just a relaxing day. Staff is very accommodating, helpful and friendly.

The good:
Friendly staff, good equipment (for the most part) and accommodating schedule.
Enjoyed the Jet skis and the Pontoon boat.

The Bad:
We rented a "tube" which ended being defective and useless. $40 going to waste. I complained (politely) about it in the end but no refund and just a "we'll look into it". The tube was overinflated on one end and underinflated on the other side so was like riding on a balloon...no stability...useless.

Blue Sky: check periodically your equipment and discard the defective stuff -or fix it!!!

We rented a Pontoon Boat and paddle boards by the Cherry Tree Inn. What a great way to spend a few hours touring the bay. Peaceful and relaxing. A great escape from the craziness of COVID and Traverse City!!! Great to just enjoy the fresh air and natural beauty of Traverse City.
Highly recommend! Staff was super friendly and nice!!!

Best Trip Ever!

Would love to thank Blue Sky....we had a family reunion in Cadillac. Wife and I own two sleds but there would be 8 of us. Try to find a snowmobile rental in Cadillac! We found Blue Sky in Traverse City and booked 3 two ups for delivery to our door at Coyote Crossings. Right on schedule the 3 sleds arrived...nice Ski Doos in great shape and ready to sled. It was a wonderful trip although we did have a minor mishap to to an inexperienced sister in-law! Repairs were handled in a very reasonable manor. Some of the best customer service we have encountered....keep up the great work Blue Sky!

Great Photos! Thank you for the positive review. This winter wasn’t the best in terms of trail conditions and snow, but it sounds like it didn’t stop your family from enjoying the beauty of winter. We appreciate the comments about our sleds and service. Hopefully we will see you again next year.

We rented a two person snow mobile for the first time. They were awesome. The guys set us up on a trail, gave us a map and pointed out locations for us to visit while on the trail. They fit us for helmets and made sure we were set before sending us out. We didn’t do a guided tour and were okay finding our way on the trails. We had never been to Traverse City before. I highly recommend this company and this activity. It was safe and fun. The heated hand grips on the sleds kept our hands from freezing in the cold air.

Great time on the lake

We've coming to this area for a number of years. We've rented kayaks, jet ski before. This time it was a pontoon boat. Had a blast on the bay. Highly recommend Blue Sky. Service is great! The personnel as well.

Great service and good pricing

we rented a pontoon for the afternoon. The service was great and the pricing was reasonable. When we arrived the guys were real helpful about getting us started and giving us an idea of where to go to do some swimming. When we arrived back again we were greeted with great service and very friendly employees. We would definitely recommend this place

Dealing with irresponsible, rude, obnoxious hot head

My family was most excited to try something new which was renting jet skis for 1 hour. Upon completing the rental agreement, we informed the attendant we were not pros therefore we had no clue how to operate a jet ski. We were told jet skis were very easy to handle. They rarily flip and would be a breeze to handle. Within 20 minutes of being on the water, our jet ski's flipped. The only way we received helped was to have someone else on a jet ski notify an attendant that we needed help. We were rescued and not allowed to try again at jet skiing. The next day we were charged a whopping $400 in damage for both jet skis flipped. In order to pay for damage, we requested a copy of the repair bill. The bill that was sent did not specify the type of damage nor did it have a repair date. When the bill was questioned, Mike Manning, one of the owners was very rude. Instead of providing an explanation of the charges, he immediately became defensive and defiant along with lacking in phone etiquette and customer service! Needless to say I will NEVER EVER do business with this horrible company again.
