Tubing at Mount Holiday is the perfect way to get a group together while social distancing outside. My teenage sons assembled a group of 14 kids for a two-hour tubing session on a Friday night. They had an amazing time, and are still talking about it. Purchasing the tickets as a group ahead of time online saved us $2 per ticket, and the online waivers were a breeze to fill out. I would recommend this activity to anyone looking for a fun night out with friends!

Great adventure. If you’re in Traverse City looking for something fun to do, I’d highly recommend this zip line. I was surprised at how close it was to the state campground. The guides were very engaging and made the time fun!

My buddy from New England who came out a few years ago to check out all the historic lifts at Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands I wanted to check out Mount holiday for the historic center pole double chair lifts. After seeing a Caberfae in the morning we arrived at 4 PM opening time and the place was rocking already with a lot of the young kids which was great to see.
The St. Lawrence chairlift which we believe is the last operating one in the world was spinning but the Telecar Poma was not operating. The ski areadoing a great nonprofit business and the young kids are really enjoying themselves on the rope towsFor $20 a night ticket it’s a bargain

It was an extremely cold day the day we went tubing. Because of Covid. We were not allowed inside to fill out their paperwork even though my group all had masks on, many there did not. When I tried to enter the building to warm up my fingers so I could fill out their paperwork I was met at the door by an aggressive very rude man that works there. I was kicked right out. We had never tubed there before and staff we're not helpful at all. When we finally figured out where to go I couldn't believe we had a huge hill to walk down to get there. Walking back up it was not so easy and frankly sucked. In addition, they made up wait in line at the top of the hill longer than we tubed. It was the worst tubing experience we've ever had and we will never go back there!

Went last hour of night tubing with my great grandson , age 5, last run of th night him and I side by side went down the hill, coasted up into the end of course and started drifting back into lull of hill to stop and get out of tubes to leave the course, I looked up hill while coasting to a stop. Some other person was already headed down towards us at 35- 40 MPH on a collision course, I immediately pushed as hard as I could my 5 yr old puff the course to prevent him injury and then braised myself for impact. I was hit and person flew over me at impact. As I was recovering I got out of my tube ,to inquire why he was let go by top of the hill attendants, he was silent on the hill for about 2-3 min. Then came to, and said what a ride !!! I ask him a question , he looked at me , no apology and walked off the course,. Top hill guide told me he was drunk ,and disobeyed his Stop request, he then asked if I was alright and needed ski patrol, my thoughts were to actually harm the man who hit me .

We had a great time Zip Lining at Mt. Holiday. Nate and Johnny were fantastic guides. They made everyone feel comfortable and could engage in good conversation through the whole experience. Our whole group (young to old) would recommend Mt. Holiday.

I took my 10 year old granddaughter to Mount Holiday for some snow tubing. There were no clear signs where to go to check in when you walked into the building (another group and I all noticed this); there was no direction given on how to get to the run (I finally asked); and the “path” to the tubing was a downward slick hill or, we noticed others walking across a grassy area. On the very first run, I evidently had a brand new employee push me down —- too soon (the previous tuber hadn’t yet cleared the run). He let go of me, said “no wait!” but I was already headed down backwards. Unfortunately for me (and the poor family at the bottom) a collision with a mom and young girl ensued and now I’m dealing with a very sore neck. Thankfully the little girl seemed to be ok, but it wasn’t pretty. It’s my belief that the run should have been closed. It was rainy the day before which made it a solid sheet of ice. The kid at the top should have been paired with a more experienced employee. The signage was lacking at the top of the hill as well; you get “released” from the tow and really kind of whipped around, bumping into the tubers waiting to go down the hill. I really should have given the rating 2/5, but I’m giving benefit of the doubt that they will improve after reading this review.

We had a ton of fun tubing here. You can ride solo or as a group (I saw as many as four people going down at once). When you go as a group, you hang onto the feet of someone else in your group. If you want, the person who sets you off can get you spinning. It takes no skill, just hang on and enjoy an exhilarating ride. My wife was apprehensive at first, but she ended up having a great time. You are in a track with side walls made of snow and your tube stays in the middle so I never came close to the walls. I've tubed at one other location and this was definitely faster. I used Strava to record one run and we hit 29 MPH going down the hill!

Just came back from Girl Scout weekend with 17 of us. Would rate Mt. Holiday 5/5 for snow tubing. Young men working the snow tubingwere pleasant, upbeat and helped to make a great experience. Could make the reservation online and moved quickly through check in.

Would rate Mt. Holiday 3/5 for skiing. They didn't tell us when we inquired or bought our lift/rental tickets that a race was scheduled for 200 racers and only 1 tow rope line was open for skiing. Couldn't get a lesson for our beginner skiiers. No one returned multiple calls or emails with inquiries. We wouldn't go back for skiing.

I can not say enough good things about our experience at MT. HOLIDAY. We took our family zipping for the first time. We had a large group including our 77 year old Grandma and an 8 year old with some special considerations. They accommodated everyone with the more kindness and made everyone feel comfortable. They FAR exceeded or expectations! We had a great time! Thanks Johnny and Nate!
