Yes there are. Most restaurants have several gluten free options listed right on their menu. I live here, eat out a lot and also have to be gluten free. It is always wise to ask just to be sure. I think Traverse City was one of the first towns to offer gluten free options as there was a very active gluten free group who made the chefs aware of people with allergies.
