Nice shopping and dining strip. Places seemed under staffed but the employees were still friendly and helpful in places. Overall a nice experience. Parking was not too expensive and there seemed to be ample spots available.

This is a charming area of Traverse City with lots of shops and places to eat. It just gets completely mobbed in the summer - very crowded no matter what day of the week.

Spent the afternoon checking out all of the shops and restaurants. Lots of different things to see. It was nice to see the older buildings remodeled to house these new stores.

Lots of fun shops and restaurants! Walked around half the afternoon. Parking tickets are only $10. We forgot to pay for parking

We thoroughly enjoyed walking about downtown Traverse City on a sunny Saturday afternoon, enjoying the murals and historical architecture, doing some people watching, popping into the small boutiques, grabbing a bite here, a drink there. You can move at your own pace, spend a little or a lot of time and/or money. It's up to you!! And from Front Street, you can walk down to the waterfront parks and sit and enjoy the sunshine and the water, or you can walk to see the beautiful Victorian houses of Sixth Street or the Purple House on State Street, among other historic homes. Note that some establishments still require masks; it wasn't a problem for us.

I wish the shop owners would embrace the recent covid recommendations. On our recent visit we were met with lots of skepticism and fear. It made our trip there much less fun. Fully vaccinated people are now free to be in public without masks knowing that they are protected however it was as if this news hadn't been shared with many people in TC. I have always followed the science. I recommend it.

We enjoyed this street and the shops and restaurants were cute and exactly what you expect from a vacation town like Traverse City. But if you want to shop, go EARLY more than half the spots were closed by 5:30 PM

Enjoying walking the front street area, lots of window shopping & cool shops to check out. Wanted to try so places places to eat as they all looked inviting. The Camera Store is amazing & there were shops that I have never heard of with awesome choices. Will return again to walk when its warmer. Must be beautiful in the spring.
