Every time I'm visiting family in TC, I make sure to stop at Fustini's, Spice at Tea Merchants and a few of the unique clothing boutiques Front Street has to offer. Plenty of great restaurants here too.

As visitors to the city, we always come to Front Street to shop when nearby. Momentum is our favorite (and best for the budget) gift shop for shirts and sweatshirts. There are a lot of variety of shops along the street as well as many different cuisines of restaurants. We love the Little Fleet food truck area on Front Street... More

Front Street in Traverse City is the center of action downtown! Fabulous restaurants and a nice variety of shops, plus a theater. Don't miss Cherry Republic which not only has all their products for sale with tasty samples to try, but also has a wonderful cafe and ice cream shop! Cherry everything!

For being such a micro-brew focused town, and all about summertime and festivals, I think it's time TC allows alcohol on the sidewalks. This would draw more to the businesses and really allow people to have more fun in downtown. It's a cool town, but too limiting on your freedom.

Visited during a girls trip. It was nice to walk around and look around during the day. There also seemed to be a lot going on at night. They showed movies on a big screen by the water at night while we were there. There was something to do and look at for all ages and walks of life.

Lots of shops to visit. Something for everyone. Jewelry, clothing, ice cream, camping gear, huge bookstore, etc. Great way to spend a few hours.

We spent a nice summer Friday night during Traverse Citys Friday night street party on Front Street. They had several different music acts, along with many activities for kids. It was very well attended. Everyone was having a great time. We spent the night browsing the activities, shopping and finally a great dinner at the brewing house.

If you want to see the best of small-town America, visit Traverse City, Michigan's Front Street. There are wonderful restaurants, a wide variety of shops in all price ranges, a great movie theatre, the State and the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay only a block away.
