Grand Traverse Winery has a beautiful patio and provides live entertainment throughout the season. We attended their "Wine Down Wednesday" and found it delightful.

I loved Chateau Grand Traverse Winery. The customer service was excellent. The wine making process was explained well. The wines that we tried were diverse in character and each was explained very well. The staff was attentive, relaxed and none pushy. Thank you. It was refreshing to have great customer service.

We finished our stay on the Old Mission peninsula with a tasting here at 10:00 am on a Wednesday morning. Needless to say, there were no lines and we enjoyed our tasting very much. The Gamay was exceptional and the Late Harvest Riesling is very good. Their prices are fair- definitely not the most expensive of the area, and they... More

My friend and I visited Chateau Grand Traverse for a tasting in August, 2016 and ended up staying for the free tour. Chateau Grand Traverse is an impressive building all around and the employees clearly love their jobs. The tasting was quick yet informative and welcoming. The prices you'll notice are all extremely reasonable and we received a $3 off... More

My wife and I stopped here on our way back from Old Mission Lighthouse. The wines were excellent (of course not all met our tastes) and we learned a great deal speaking with the staff who acted more as owners than summer staff. Easy to find and situated in such a way you could see the Lake and enjoy the... More

My husband and I took the kids. We knew it was a state law where the kids had to be 3 feet away from the bar. They were able to go out on the patio and look for Pokemon while we tasted the wines. The one who took care of us was so nice. He offered the kids many samples... More

This was an excellent winery. Loved the cherry wines a lot. My wife is not a drinker and bought 3 bottles. A very good selection of red wines as well. This was our favorite on the Mission Point Peninsula.

Beautiful winery, great value, nice gift shop. The customer service is ok....not great, not bad. But the wine selections are good. And good prices. One of my favorite of the wineries in the area.

Being that's it a larger commercial winery, it's not as intimate as others on the peninsula. Lacks the warm inviting atmosphere. You wait in cordoned lines to get a place at the tasting bar. Not impressive views from the deck. One side of deck is the warehouse wall. The overlook was closed for a private event. Positive is the tasting... More
