My girlfriend and I visited four wineries on our trip up Old Mission Peninsula: Peninsula Cellars, Chateau Grand Traverse, Brys Estate and Two Lads. Peninsula Cellars was the most laid back. Chateau Grand Traverse had the best variety of wines. Brys Estate was our favorite tasting room and Two Lads had the best view. The view from Two Lads is... More

I have been to Napa wineries and this was average. Maybe my experiences has biased me now but I think this one was pricier for pretty small pours. The flights are close to a sip or two. So just a consideration if you want more wine for the buck. Nice view over the peninsula, though!

We were able to stop at 2 Lads during a fall trip to Traverse City. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The winery, which is located on Mission Point, has a beautiful view of East Grand Traverse Bay. We would definitely recommend this winery to others.

The wine from Michigan is very good. This winery takes pride in excellent white and rose blends with a touch of class. The winery is beautiful and worth a destination traveling in northern Michigan. Other wineries nearby are also worth the time and effort.

This is a place that stands out among other wineries. They want you to get to know their product and they want to get to know you. I love the sleek tasting room and wonderfully friendly staff and their wine club service is second to none! No Michigan wine tour is complete without a stop here. Enjoy and be ready... More

Our group of six was definitely going to visit 2 Lads Winery no matter what since it was literally across the street from our rental house. Luckily it turned out to be a great decision. The modern building with it's full wall of windows allows for the most beautiful views of the bay since it's on top of the hill.... More

We stopped here on a wine tasting trip on Old Mission Peninsula. Nice wines, friendly people. We decided to wait to try a few other places before buying anything, as they were good wines but not that good a value compared to other regions. It is worth the drive to come up here.

When wine tasting in the Travere City area, don't skip this one. Best view of the bay. Industrial style with quality wine choices. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

We had 7 people in our group - I think two of us bought one bottle of wine and without going to our wine rack to look, I can't even remember what it was. The server we had didn't seem all that enthused about imparting information on us - it felt like we had to ask all the questions to... More
