This is a large commercial winery on a hill with great views of both bays. In the tasting room we did flights and took home bottles of Pino Grigio and Riesling. Staff was knowledgeable and pleasant. A good time was had.

A beautiful location and tasting room. Very knowledgeable staff and delicious wines. Weather wasn’t conducive to enjoying the patio, but the inside area has a lovely view and is quite cozy. We would love to come back and stay at the inn next time!

The building is very nice on the top of a ridge running down the middle of Old Mission Peninsula between Grand Traverse Bay and Little Traverse Bay. You can see both from the Chateau.

Overall their wines are good but not our favorite. They do have beautiful views high on mission peninsula. Great place for a glass of vino.

We enjoyed the wines, along with the excellent views across the peninsula. Purchased a case of two whites. It was crowded, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but very busy. Much the same at the other winery's we visited.

This winery has some of the most amazing views! The staff was friendly and the wine was tasty. We were able to take some gorgeous pictures outdoors here. We would return!

Amazing view, delicious wine. If you go in the warmer months, you risk it being busy, especially on the weekend, but there is beautiful patio seating to take a glass of wine, or their flight of 3 outside. Or go during the off season, beat...More

We stopped at Chateau Chantal on our wine tour of Mission Peninsula. Absolutely beautiful location. Our server for our tasting was very personable and we had a lot of fun during our tasting. Would definitely recommend stopping here if you are on Mission Peninsula.

Beautiful location, great views. However, too busy, not enough seating, similar to stock available at grocery stores. It was the only place where there were lines. Unfortunately terrace wasn't open for sitting and enjoying a glass with the great views.More

I believe they are ok having dogs on the patio........I didn't see any the day we were there, but I would suspect it's ok but calling to verify would probably be advised.
