Overview
More
Left Foot Charley is a winery like no other. In lieu of the single estate model, LFC is a collection of grape and apple growers located throughout Northern Michigan dedicated to growing fruit for our wine and cider. Located in the urban setting of the former Traverse City State Hospital campus known as The Village, LFC creates an array of balanced white wine, red wine, and hard cider. Every bottle tells the story of the farm, the vintage and the winemaker's dream of sharing it all with you.

A really nice stop that’s a bit different from other wineries in the area. Lots of restaurants and fun shops nearby. Definitely more white wines than reds but they also have ciders and a few fun drinks. Great wine, nice outside area and really nice...More

Their hard Apple cider was so good!! This was a very nice winery to stop at along the 12 different ones I visited with my mom and sister in laws.

Wow! The entire area was great. They are restoring an old state hospital complex from the 1850’s and this is one of the buildings (used to be the laundry room built in 1950’s I was told). The grounds were nice to enjoy a glass of...More

We love the hard cider and wine selections here. We visit each year, our last visit it was a little busy so the staff wasn’t the most friendly or attentive. We had a bit of a mix up so I called and the manager Meredith...More

I love the atmosphere of this place. So casual and the focus is sharing their love for their wine, beer or hard cider. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Must place to go.

While there's food, this is more like a brew pub than a restaurant. Limited menu but a very helpful staff who will point you in the right direction for pairing ciders with what they have in their menu.
