3 year old and 10 month old had a wonderful two hour trip! The crew was very knowledgeable. They spent many minutes explaining the rigging, sailing crew activities and actually allowed our 3 year old grandson steer and haul lines on the ship! He had just toured the nearby Children's Museum that demonstrated sailing techniques and was really pleased that... More

We had a great time on our sail! The weather was perfect and the crew was friendly and knowledgeable about the boat and the area. We will do this again next time we visit Traverse City.

We had beautiful wind and our Captain Bretton and crew were awesome! Ting, Trip and Lily were so helpful. Lily brought our daughter-in-law ice for her recently broken finger. The Moomers ice cream was delicious.

What a great tour. The weather was perfect. The crew was wonderful, informative and engaging. Best two hours I've spent during something 'touristy'. I thought the price was right for the tour. I'd do it again.....We took the noon tour. Might have to do the mid-afternoon or sunset tour next. Thanks Tall Ships!!!!!

This incredible vessel used to ply the waters of Lake Champlain as the Homer W. Dixon. She is now the Manitou and you are treated to a wonderful sailing experience. Incredible Captain and crew who interact with the passengers. Cost is quite appropriate for the excursion. Like we said...a must must must do.
