Very pretty shop, friendly service and all things lavender. The grounds are beautiful, as is their winery up the hill. Very nice things and nice way to spend a little time, picking up some locally crafted goods.

We were exploring the peninsula and planned to taste wine at Brys Estate. As we drove into the estate, we saw signs for the "secret garden," so we checked it out.

It was evident that the garden is best visited in the summer. We visited in October, and nothing was in-bloom; it was just plastic-covered ground and a bunch of lavender bushes with no flowers. There were a handful of benches and things, but they were not an attractive place to sit.

We checked-out the gift store. It sold several lavender-themed gifts (lotions, etc.) and bunches of dried lavender; we were surprised that these were not very fragrant.

In summer, it might be great; in fall, you can skip it and go right to the wines.

The Secret Garden at Brys Estate is a special place that boasts a beautiful scene each season. “The more you take time to appreciate the beauty all around you, the more beauty you will see.” You don't want to miss what we have to offer in the fall! When you visit this season you get to enjoy views of changing leaves, you can walk amongst the perennial flowers that continue to bloom even as the days grow shorter and colder, and a unique selection of pumpkins and gourds are decoratively organized on the grounds and are available to take home. Nothing in nature blooms all year, including lavender, flowers and fruits. While lavender is definitely one of our most popular features at the garden, it’s not the only thing we have to offer through the year! Visit in the spring time and witness buds break, flowers begin to grow, and a new season come to life. In the early summer our strawberries begin to blossom and we invite guests to come and pick some for themselves. Mid-June to mid-July our lavender is in bloom and is a beautiful sea of purple! While a good portion of the blooms are harvested for our culinary and decorative products, we let large parts of the field bloom through so that you can cut some for yourself, or simply witness the beautiful view. Late summer our blueberries ripen and those are available for you-pick as well! Our gift shop is open June to November and the variety of products is always growing! Each time you visit you may find new offerings. The dried lavender bundles that we sell in the shop are not fragrant when you simply pick them up. They become fragrant when the dried buds are pressed and crushed. If you’ve joined us in the past few weeks you’d notice the plastic covering a part of the ground, yes. That space is being prepared for new lavender plantings! We hope that you do choose to visit us again in the summertime if that's when you'd prefer to. But we also hope that maybe, starting today, you move forward with believing that each moment of the year has its own beauty.

The secret garden at Brys Estate is an absolute gem! The garden itself is tucked between rolling hills of wine grapes, and includes a lovely gift shop that smells of - you guessed it - lavender.

During our visit, the garden had several herbs available for sale - including lavender, sage, different types of mint, lemongrass and other herbs. It was just magical! The bonus is that the lovely Brys Estate Winery is on the same property, so you can get a two-for-one visit in!

A very beautiful place when the lavender is in bloom. Spend some time here and then do some wine tasting while you are there. One of our favorite stops while on the wine trail.

We arrived in November so we weren't able to visit the garden, per se, BUT I did purchase their lavender hand soap and lotion at the winery and it is wonderful!! Can't wait to return in warmer weather!
