Good trails.

Good, clear trails for cross country skiing or hiking if no snow. Good for exercise due to rolling hills. Specifically for cross country skiing, but it's nice year round.

Ski trails in winter
Jul 2018 • Couples
Easy hiking. Saw deer rabbits and lots of birds. It’s an amazing place to ski but was a quiet place to get out and enjoy nature in the summer also!! Not crowded at all so it was pretty quiet.

Winter Wonderland
Jan 2018 • Friends
This is one of the best groomed cross-country ski trail systems in Michigan. Over twenty miles of trails wind through a variety of terrains and provide a beautiful and peaceful experience for skiers of all abilities. The trails cross over picturesque streams on rustic log bridges. There is a log cabin warming lodge with a glowing fire in a wood stove located at the Corsair trailhead. You will love this authentic cross-country skiing experience on well-maintained trails that are groomed weekly by the Corsair Trail Council.

Not what I was expecting
Jul 2017 • Family
We went over the 4th of July weekend. We like well-maintained gravel paths. This is a more natural grassy path. We opted not to go on it based on our preferences. I bet it would be amazing in the winter.

Learned a lot about MI lumber era and very interesting. Didn't do the steps though but really didn't need to go down to the river.

Best cross country skiing you will find

Great network of groomed trails. Never crowded. Pick your level of difficulties. You can rent ski's in East Tawas at Summit Sports. Get a free map as you have lots of trails from several parking lots to pick from.

Nice trails through the woods

Very quiet and peaceful since we pretty much had all trails to ourselves! You won't find spectacular views but an extensive trail system. We took the outer trails all around. That makes for about 12-13 miles of hiking.

Terrific Trails for the Seasons!

Enjoy the groomed trails with differing levels of difficulty for skiing. In the fall and spring, the trails are winding and beautiful to hike with my dog.
