A dedicated and friendly professional and volunteer staff made our sail a very pleasant experience. In addition, we learned from the educational exercises on board about the lake natural environment and the physics of sailing.

We're glad you enjoyed your sail! The amount of "work" depends on which tour you choose. Our science sails are definitely hands-on, but we also offer other relaxing sails such as our Breakfast on the Schooner, Music, and Wine Education sails. We hope you come...More

We went on a breakfast cruise and had a great time. Make sure to wear layers as the weather is often much cooler out on the water than it is on land. The captain and all the crew were all extremely knowledgeable and friendly and...More

Thanks for your recommendation to dress in layers! This is especially important for morning and evening sails, and mid-day sails in the spring and fall.

It would have been a lot more dramatic to have gone out on a night with no moon. The light polution from the moon was counter productive to viewing the stars and the constilations.

This is a wonderful educational experience that is appropriate for young and old! The schooner is awesome, the crew delightful and the instructional aspect is very entertaining and (don't tell the kids...but educational, too!!). I would highly recommend this activity. Great price, also!
