We stumbled on this gem while walking through town on a cool fall weekend. We ate a picnic lunch and played on the playground. Such a unique play structure!! And a super short walk out to the overlook on Lake Michigan or into town.

This was an unexpected find in South Haven. We stopped by for a stretch break during our drive home. The playground was outstanding and we could have stayed all afternoon. The view of the lake across the street was also nice. This playground reminds me of a place near my grandparents' house when I was growing up. Very fun!…

Our 3-year old grandson LOVED this playground. He was non-stop running from place-to-place, climbing, sliding, ducking into spaces, pretending that he's on a boat, etc. He NEVER stopped being active from the moment we arrived until we dragged him back to the car. We've been to this park a few times and our kids absolutely love it. Every time we go we literally have to peel the kids off the playground when it's time to leave. The play structures are all wood and very timeless. My kids love running, jumping, hiding and finding new friends to play with each time we visit. There are lots of swings, the regular size ones, ones for babies and there is even one that accommodates the handicapped. I highly recommend coming here if your kids are sick of the beach, maybe you had a long car ride, or just looking for a place to let your kids run free. Pros: • Great location across the street from a public beach spot • There's lots of shade to beat the heat • The play structures don't have that scary high drop off edges that other play equipment tends to have, I pretty much let me 2-year-old run wild and don't have to worry that he's going to fall and hurt himself • There are public bathrooms available on site Cons: • The slides are metal which can get pretty hot in the summer so make sure to check them before you kid takes a chance with shorts on • We didn't have any problems finding parking, however, I bet it fills up quickly!…
