We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon with our teenage son. He wanted some big Honeycrisp apples and was not disappointed! Lots of things to choose from: different apple varieties, apple butter, jams/jellies, candles, etc. When getting a gallon of fresh cider from the fridge, I noticed bags of pitted sour cherries and snapped up 2 bags. Excellent place for picking great apples. Even my little two year old granddaughter was able to pick. Staff was very polite and helpful. Grandkids had a ball picking apples, going through the corn maze, walking through the pumpkin patch and then feeding the animals. Price was very reasonable. $3/ person, children under 3 free, seniors free. That included apple picking, corn maze and animal feeding. Free apple cider to taste. It was buy three bags of apples and get one free. My son accidently picked 9 bags instead of 8 and they told us to just take the extra bag. If I lived closer (we are from PA) I would go there every year to get my Cortland apples.…

He also really enjoyed the playground where he climbed all over the John Deere wooden tractor. We picked a few plums, pears, and early apples. We sampled the made-fresh donuts - delicious! We visited in late August so the apples were just ripening and most weren't ready for picking. We'd love to return and pick when the apples are ready for harvest. There are obviously lots of orchards in the area. I highly recommend this one because of the personal touch and friendliness of the owner and staff…
