This church is popular in La Union and also to neighboring towns and provinces. Many people came here during the Lenten Season. Come visit these places in my beloved La Union! It is not expensive to go to La Union. You will not regret in coming to La Union....

the healing waters healed my cousin from asthma and he is now one of the basketball player in UAAP with no episodes of asthma without taking any medications. I guess miracles do happen. If you came in morning or in the afternoon and the front entrance is closed. You can find the right side entrance always open so cheer up.... More

A historical church with miraculous water, open for locals and travellers to get some water as they bring their own containers. We remove our sandals just for fun at stairways up and down.

I'm a native Lunarian.. just wanna share what our town offers to all visitors and pilgrims who would end up on our place... This church is the home of "Our Lady of Namacpacan".. Many believed that she is miraculous that is why some media men had already came to this church just to cover the story.. While visiting the place... More

Next stop was Our Lady of Namacapan Church, aka Santa Catalina de Alexandria Church, in Luna La Union. Unfortunately, it was closed around the time we came (noon). TIP for those church hopping and it's not during Holly Week, try to get to the churches early morning or late afternoon to see them open during mass. Nevertheless, we were able... More

Most of the church is still preserved. The bricks used. The communion rail and the pulpit is still there. 2 things you would not see in modern churches. The renovation compliments the old structure so when you look at it, it is still beautiful like the Our Lady's statue. This place is a bit far from San Fernando the capital... More

Going to the small town of Luna in the Province of La Union is one of the "perfect getaway destinations" in Northern Luzon. The former name of Luna was "Namacpacan" due to town's reputed hospitality to the visitors/travelers. Namacpacan is ilocano word which means "one who had given food". Luna is known for its "Pebble Beach" and the famous Luna Church... More
