We stopped by Oval Beach during an afternoon in Saugatuck. This is a nice beach and has good facilities. It's worth the parking fee. The water was high which meant the beach wasn't as wide as it would have been. We enjoyed our visit.

Great little beach. Nice restrooms, not very much parking, go early. The white sand can't be beat and Lake Michigan is always amazing. No two days are the same. This beach is very rural, not busy like a large public beach. The sand/beach is on a slant down a small hill as well. There is not much flat space.

This beach was gorgeous. It’s the perfect place to take a date or for pictures. It is not, however a place for kids, at least not when we went. When you first come in, there is an area that looks like it would be the beach. This is a dune with a straight drop down to the water, but there are high up beaches you can sit at here if you’re not interested in the water. The actual beach is down the path a ways, there is more parking and you can park right by the beach. The day we went it was crazy windy and sand was blowing everywhere. My preschooler got scared and was crying. Needless to say, we didn’t make it out of the parking lot. I do not know if this beach is known for wind, but it was not windy anywhere else in town. Costs $10 per car to get in.

We found this beach to be nice clean and had lots of restrooms all though we didn’t go in to them. The water is very high so the beach is actually quite steep. With two replaced knees I found it very difficult to walk. A nice boardwalk would be great.
