Seasonal Garden Centre & Botanical Gardens. Open May thru October. Explore 20 acres of colour, unique design and countless rare plants at our National Award winning botanical gardens. Streams, ponds, cascades, as well as cottage garden strolls, magnificent formal gardens and European influenced architecture all await you. The Conifer collection features 2,300 different specimens and is the largest public collection in the world. Our peony collection features some 1,000+ different varieties and is considered to be the largest public collection in North America! Wheelchair accessible, walking paths, shop for rare and unusual plants or participate in our group garden tours, horticulture or creative workshops. Cameras, and picnic lunch’s welcome! We visited the gardens a little too early for the peony festival, but it didn't matter. We were there four hours and if we didn't need to head back to Sudbury, we could have easily stayed longer. Every corner you go around has more lovely...More

We visited these gardens after hearing about them and were very impressed. There is fifty acres of trails, ponds, streams, plantings, stone walls and bridges and beautiful structures. There are different areas ie marsh, conifer, iris, peonies etc. There was a wedding when we visited...More
