Terrible parking system for the park. Our first visit let to a $40 parking ticket. Not very welcoming for out of state visitors on our first (likely last) visit to your town.

Must see. Lake Michigan is so beautiful. Looks like the ocean. Can almost see Chicago from St. Joseph's shoreline.

I figured it was a larger light house, but it is still really cool. You can walk out to it and I always love to do that at these places. You can get a good view of the beach from there as well as the...More

This pier is lovely and is a very nice walk out to both lighthouses. Their tours had not yet open end for the season even though we were here for Memorial Day weekend so we were disappointed in that. If you are a lighthouse enthusiast...More

We went on a very windy, but sunny day. Ice was still on the beach, but it was worth it. Gorgeous view of the lighthouse, nice parking, though you do have to pay in peak season. The waves were too high to safely walk out...More

I love light houses, but you can’t beat this one with all the change in seasons and sunsets! Amazing sunsets on Lake Michigan, waves spraying up in the wind, ice covered in the winter.

St. Joseph is very dog friendly. In fact, many shops have water bowls outside for your dogs to drink from and several stores even let you bring your furry friends inside. There's a great little store called Fuzzy Butts, I... More
