We always find the time to walk out to the lighthouse at the end of the pier when in St. Joseph. It's just beautiful and grand and breathtaking!

We are fortunate to live in St. Joseph and get to see this every time we go to town. Our favorite activity in the summer is to buy ice cream and then walk out on the south pier. The North pier, where this refurbished lighthouse stands, is now open for inside tours during the summer when the lake is calm.... More

We always walk the pier to check out the amazing view of Lake Michigan. It's a cold walk in the fall and winter but worth the walk.

I have been visiting the St. Joseph LIghthouses for 34 years and to watch the sunset as a ball of fire into Lake Michigan...or the icy waves crash 30 feet high over the lighthouse pier is are sights to see. Downtown St. Joseph has all sorts of tourist attractions and shops to visit as well.

I don't know why I have a fascination with lighthouses but I do. This lighthouse is indeed a love one. And the beach is nice to walk on also.

We live a short distance from St. Joe and have there many times both in nice and bad weather. The light was recently turned over to the city for care and maintence fro the coast guard. There still is a coast guard presence as the St. Joe river empties into lake Michigan there. There is a public park at the... More

We walked down to the beach and lighthouses in the fall. Not many people around, so had the view and quiet mostly to ourselves. You can walk all the way out to the end on either side of the harbor entrance. Very beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful to enjoy a sunset from either side of the lighthouse. The lighthouse looks great after being restored over the past year.
