About
The IQhub at AgroLiquid is a center for agricultural history, innovation, and exploration. Home to exhibits chronicling the advancement of agriculture from before the pilgrims set foot in the Americas all the way through the present day, the IQhub holds something for both the young and young at heart. Located inside AgroLiquid's world headquarters in St. Johns, Michigan, the 10,000 square foot ag education destination is complimented by a Kids' Korner where even the youngest groups can learn about the farm-to-fork connection. The IQhub is open to the public and admission is free. Schools from across Michigan choose the IQhub as a field trip destination. Educators may request a free field trip via our website or call us at 989-227-3847. Transportation grants are available to offset the cost of bussing!

Nice facility, hands on items for kids and adults to do. Welcoming presence outside the doors and very nice clean place inside. Easily accessed by all types of people. Good facility for learning about agriculture in the past and present. Dives into the future of agriculture and what it means to be a farmer of the future.

Super fun and full of different activities to quiz your agriculture knowledge base. I would recommend it for any Ag-Enthusiast that is in the area or willing to travel!

The IQ Hub has many informational displays plus an interactive room for small children with many hands-on activities and manipulatives. The main displays include antique John Deere tractors of varying sizes, and highlight agricultural practices in Michigan and the midwest. Displays include text, video, and audio. There is a tractor simulator, where you ride in the cab of a tractor and your task is to plant corn within about a 90 second period. Fun to try out and there is actually minimal motion in the two-person tractor cab. Best of all, admission is free to the IQ Hub!

The facility itself is quite new, spacious, and has very high ceilings and windows. Helpful staff will answer questions and provide additional information. The IQ Hub is an outreach initiative of AgroLiquid Fertilizer, and just outside of the IQ Hub door is a window into the chemistry lab and a welcoming lobby.

Great place to stop and explore for a unique window into Michigan agricultural practices.

While visiting friends in St. Johns I read about the art exhibition that is being hosted at the learning and outreach wing of Agro-Liquid, called the IQ Hub. The exhibition is called "art explosion" because there is a lot; it is distributed widely around the permanent hall of display in the IQ Hub; and the range of artists goes from elementary school to retirees of great talent. Since my main goal was to spend a little time with all the art, I did not engage with the IQHub's own thematic learning stations and interactive exhibits. But I could judge from the visitor comments and the diversity of educational devices (text, gear, multimedia, and so on) that the Hub must be popular with school groups, 4-H clubs and other youth-oriented programs.

LiqidAg does so much to help the community. They hold events for minimal charge if any, has great space for weddings or business events, has hotel rooms reasonably priced and most importantly they help local schools with educational programs and transportation funding.

If you want a comprehensive look into agriculture and the history of fertilizing crops this is it. From the Native Americans to the first fertilizer manufacturing by the pioneers of the USA and on to the current high tech crop fertility management of today. Learn why this part of agriculture is so critical in our endeavors to feed the worlds growing population.

We enjoyed going here for something different other than the regular outings we do. Kids love to get on the tractor. Great for both girls and boys and educational too.
