Everyone was great from purchasing our tickets to the ferry employees. Our dog was welcomed and she loved her ride. We sat inside going to the island and on top on our return. The ferry was quick and easy getting on and off.

We went on a day trip from St. Ignace to Mackinac Island by both the ferries. This line though costs the same was definitely was not the one I would select in future. Not as clean, the audio was of poor quality.

You must take a Ferry either from St. Ignace or Mackinaw City. You either walk, rent a bike or take your own bike or ride horse drawn wagons or horse back. Be prepared to eat some good Fudge also as every other shop is... More
