We have visited this park several times, but kept to the front of the park, for picnics, gatherings under the picnic shelter and a bit of walking. However, while I was working in St. Charles recently, I spent my lunch hour here and I had no idea that so many recreational opportunities are available here! It is a large park, but easily navigated. There is a walking path thru out the park, which pretty much connects all areas. Parking is street side, with a smaller gravel lot in the back near the ball diamonds. Bathrooms open seasonally and are pretty decent. Two picnic shelters. Tennis courts, basketball courts, a pool, ball diamonds, tennis courts, a roller blade rink (outdoors)/ice skating rink, a band gazebo (no seating), a 18 hole disc golf course and playground with climbing "ship". There are lots of tall shade trees and plenty of grass. Picnic tables, trash receptacles. Local residents should be proud to have this gem within their community. They even decorate part of the park for the Christmas holidays!

This is a really nice park and a little known treasure because it’s in this small town.
We’ve had family reunions there, we’ve just hung out talking photos there just walking around enjoying the out of doors!
Always clean & well taken care of too.

The fact that this park exists in such a small town is surprising. Has a nice running trail. Plays ape for the kids and my son especially loves the pirate ship. There is a dog area and sand volleyball court. There used to be a pool and we were very sad when it closed because we used to use it a lot.

The waterfall makes this an average park to a spectacular park. Very nice for photos and resting before or after the rail to trail.
