The Anderson Enrichment Center provides Saginaw locals and visitors alike a place to learn about their city, see local art displayed, gather for festivals and celebrations that are put on by the city of Saginaw, and provides access to a wonderful rose garden. There is no entry fee. Festivals like Jazz in the Garden and Holidays in the City start and end here. Numerous garden demonstrations are held here each summer. You can also rent the facility (or a part of it) for weddings, conferences, business meetings etc.

The wonderful Lucille Anderson Memorial Garden is a real treat for the eyes and nose. There is a beautiful water fountain in the center. Roses of all kinds bloom through out the season. There are some other flowers, of course, too. Several benches encircle the rose garden and it is a great place to take a lunch and sit and listen to the fountain, birds, bees and watch the butterflies and hummingbirds do their thing. It is kept up very well.

There is a large parking lot, and you can also sit in the lot and enjoy watching the fountains in Lake Linton. Bathrooms are accessible inside the center.

My son and daughter in law just got married here. It was a beautiful place with an amazing rose garden and fountain. They had a place to move the wedding inside in case of rain but we had great weather for their special day. The staff was very helpful as well. I couldn't recommend this place enough if you are looking for a great place in the area for an outdoor wedding.

This place is gorgeous, but very poorly run. We were only given 2 hrs before a wedding ceremony to set up decorations for the outside. They double book for weddings. we were also told there would be a worker there at all times, very untrue. Outlets outside barely worked, could only us one which was for the DJ. Booked this place a year in advance so at that time we should have been told that they were double booking & basically no lighting outside . We couldn't even plug in lights because of their electrical problems, no air conditioning in the big room at all, basically none in the ladies room, sweating after setting up in such a hurry makes it very hard to get a dress on. We had been told we could set up outside at 3 hours before the ceremony, but people from the wedding before ours blocked us out of the parking lot. when the ladies restroom was out of toilet paper could not find a worker for over 2 hours. Also they turned off the fountain at dusk. DJ lighting was all we had outside. Many people left at dark because of no lights. I do not ever recommend this place for anything.

We visited the Andersen Enrichment Center while searching for statues scattered throughout the city of Saginaw. It was nice to stroll along the paved pathway around the fountain featuring a couple geese in flight. It was surrounded by a variety of rose bushes unfortunately they weren't in bloom at the time of our visit so I'll be going back soon. Nice place to take photographs. We attended a wedding ceremony at the center a few years ago in December, it was very nice. There is currently an art exhibit on display through the third week of this month (June 2016). Other events take place throughout the year here, including jazz in the park on Wednesday evenings.

The Anderersen Enrichment Center is a nice respite in the City of Saginaw. It is beautiful when the Wysteria and Roses are in bloom. It features a sculpture by Marshall M. Fredericks, Flying Geese in its fountain. I often walk here before work or during my lunch time. The Andersen Enrichment Center also is home to many events. During July free concerts take place amongst the roses. It is also home to several craft shows and artistic events throughout the year.

Friendly help from the woman who works there. She was very informative. The garden is beautiful and elegant. It is not very big, so it would be a quick stroll.

This is unique. We were protected from rain thanks to the trees. There were many pillars.

I liked the round pool with a statue.

However, there were many beautiful flowers

Worthwhile to see!

The weekly jazz type concerts are an institution here. The Rose Garden is a beautiful setting. Bring your own lawn chair and get a snack at the concession. A really nice FREE way to spend a summer evening, alone or with friends. Concerts during inclement weather are handled ar the local Pit and Balcony theatre comfortably.
