Nice, mid-size venue

Came here to see Alter Bridge. Staff was very nice during the day with the Meet & Greet fans who came early. Neat old building, seems to be well kept. Great sound quality during... read more

Saw Christopher Titus here tonight he was great. The theater not so much. Rude or just plain uninformed staff. Had to hold my $4 bottle of water open no cap. Now I understand when they hold GA concerts this could be an issue but really a bunch of middle aged people in assigned seating. Ridiculous. No carbiners on keys because... More

Came here to see Alter Bridge. Staff was very nice during the day with the Meet & Greet fans who came early. Neat old building, seems to be well kept. Great sound quality during the concert that evening, and although I didn't like standing through the entire performance, there are several levels so that people can see from wherever they... More

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing Paula Poundstone at the Royal Oak Music Theater recently. It was fun to be able to get a beer or drink and watch the show. The seats were very good. We were a bit confused about when doors opened versus when the show started but that was our fault. Hope to see another show soon.

Very cool vibe in this old theater. Sound quality was very good. Security was friendly and efficient on entry. Restrooms are small and make for long lines. Staff was friendly, drinks were a bit inconsistent.

I came here for a performance of Magic Men Live! on a Saturday evening. Although the performance wasn't near the level of Thunder From Down Under (which I saw at the Soundboard in MotorCity Casino & Hotel) in terms of execution, choreography, music choice/editing, performance, usage of backscreen, audience interaction, there were some highlights, which were the creative Fifty shades... Great looking venue in downtown Royal Oak near excellent bars ,shopping and restaurants. Full bar on each level and good seating . We saw The Mavericks there and the overall volume was way too loud and the kick drum over powered everything . Some songs were unrecognizable due to the poor sound. I don't know if this was a house... More

We saw Jesse Cook and his international band and were pleasantly surprised at the comfortable setting, easy parking, cash bar & accessible restrooms. We're keeping our eyes open to go again when they have another group we'd like to see.

Where do I begin, when we finally got into the theater and escorted to our seats, we had to sit there for an hour before the show started. It was extremely hot in the building, so hot that we got sick from the heat. When the show finally started, it was even warmer and the seats stunk like urine. We... More

The venue has a lot of charm when visiting for a private party. Sound and visuals good. Easy access for all and good setups available for serving200-300 guests. Not sure if it is the i house caterer(think so) and food quite good with some offerings more than usual buffet style dining. Use valet parking if available so you don't get... More

We went to see a comedian last weekend at the Royal Oak Music Theater. The theater looks nice enough, however the seating was pretty horrible. We sat in the first row of the balcony. The "safety bar" in front of us was right in the view of the stage, so that we either had to slouch to view under the... More
