About
TreeRunner Rochester, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts aged 7 and up, offers a multitude of zip lines and aerial ropes courses, each with varying difficulty levels for limitless treetop fun. Our self-guided trails require no previous climbing experience. After a safety briefing and harness fitting, climbers choose a course suiting their comfort level, navigating its bridges or elements at their own pace, taking roughly 20-45 minutes per course. Climbing tickets grant unlimited climbs over a three-hour period, with staff available for assistance. Our "double-clipped-on" safety harness technology keeps climbers continuously connected to a safety cable. With age-appropriate challenges, TreeRunner provides an exciting adventure for kids, teens, and adults alike.

Overall I would say this was a great experience, but there were definitely some frustrating hiccups. We organized this as a group event. I reserved and put a deposit down over 2 months in advance and told them our expected numbers, including the required adult ratio for kids attending. When I went to confirm and finish paying in the week or two prior to the actual event, they only had the children spots reserved but they fixed it once we got supervisor involved. The waiver management for group planning was also frustrating because I could see everyone's waiver was in and assigned, but then at the park they could not find 2 of them so people had to redo them. I also did not like that the system emailed me what felt like a million times about all the waivers and reminders to climb....overkill if you ask me. At the actual park we had some issues where we had to wait for a long amount of time due to one of the zipline tweezles being too far away from the platform so customers that were ahead of us kept getting stuck. Overall I would say it wasted close to 30 minutes of our climbing time. We loved climbing and it was a great experience overall, but the group planning definitely caused a lot of frustration for this leader.

I give the staff on site 5 stars. They were kind, polite, knowledgeable, fun and safe.
The registration I'd give about 2 stars. Tried to book a group, the person we were working with left the company and we lost the time slot we needed. The booking ended up being "just go to our website".
Once we were there everything was great, but the group sign up was very frustrating.

Awesome - so much fun and it challenged my son who gained a lot of confidence from the experience! Staff was nice and knowledgeable. The price seems very high though. It was roughly $60/ person after the fees - difficult for a family of 6 to all go together. $40-$45 seems like a more fair price.

My 9 year-old daughter and 12 year-old son and me had a blast! My only constructive feedback is that for one hour, we were stuck behind three different people who got scared. I think there should be a way to keep other people moving along during this tough situations. We will be back!

Treerunner in Rochester Hills is worth the price. At first I thought the price was really high - $240 for a family of 4. But the quality of experience was there to justify the cost. There are more ropes courses than you can complete within your 3 hour allotted window. There is a great range of easy/fun/relaxing to strenuous/challenging ropes courses. The canopy of trees is both beautiful but also practical at keeping the hot sun away - even on a day where the high was 93 degrees, we were comfortable and had fun!
My kids are ages 12-16 and enjoyed all of the courses, from easy to difficult. It was a great way to spend time together and have a bonding/teamwork experience.

This was the first time here and we think this place is pretty awesome! I feel the price for kids under 10 was a bit much, but all in all the experience we had was awesome. Everyone there had a safety first mentality, which was refreshing. They also had the ability for my 8yr daughter to move up to the next section by taking a quiz and talking to the equipment shed staff. It looked amazing for adults too and I can't wait to go back.

Had a great time. Very cool obstacles and courses. Will definitely go back again. Only slight issue, I accidentally went on a "hard" course first... wouldn't recommend that unless you're in good shape and used to climbing. Definitely have to work up to it.

The courses are a lot of fun, with challenges for all levels of skill. The staff was attentive and took safety seriously. The course was well maintained and we felt safe at all times, which gave us the confidence to try some of the more difficult courses. Overall we had a great time with no complaints.

Small B2B suppport!! MI-Combat did a team builder with our neighbor and local friends Tree Runners. We had such a great time. A naturally athletic group, we love a challenge, love to encourage each other to try things out of our comfort zone, and to feel accomplished when we all conquer the course. Fall is a perfect time to go, evenings are beautiful in the forest. Book your spot, you won't regret it

I bought my kids and my niece and nephews passes for Tree Runner for Christmas. We finally got to use them and it was definitely worth the wait! They range in age from 7-13 and every single one had an amazing time and can't wait to come back. The park had something for everyone whether you wanted an easier course or to challenge yourself. The staff was plentiful, very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful.
