This is a great activity as there is something for all ages. There are kids rides for all ages and more planes than you can imagine. My personal favorite is the SR71 Blackbird which holds several aviation records. Make sure you visit all the rooms as there are two rooms off the main area and the movie also. If you... More

Such a great place! Very educational and fun! It was great for younger kids with lots of rides and excitement and it was great for teens, especially in the flight simulator. My father, a former Air Force flier really enjoyed all of the history.

Although it has rides for little kids, its more for older kids, teens, and adults. The planes are fun to look at, but the little ones don't let you read anything before running to the next spot. Don't miss the other hanger, which has the space ship rockets.

We came here over 15 years ago with my grandfather when it was a single hangar with a bunch of planes and it was fun then. Now they have a large museum space with planes, rides, flight simulators, 3-D movie theater, and more. The entire space was very clean and I cannot say enough about the knowledge and friendliness of... More

ent yesterday while visiting a friend in Kalamazoo. I've been to a number of air museums, and this one was very good. As their name suggests, they focus mainly on flying craft (as opposed to tanks, cars, etc), but have a great selection of stuff - some WWI, lots of WWII, and again a nice selection of modern craft, Vietnam... I was a chaperone for my daughters 8th grade class field trip to Kalamazoo that included a visit to the Air Zoo. Our docent Roger provided great details about several aircraft that are beautifully preserved. The exhibit on the Guadalcanal Campaign is excellent and educational. The mural that surrounds the aircraft displays is superb. Extremely impressed!

This museum is so clean and colorful and bright. Floors, walls, ceilings--all of it. Enjoyed seeing all the different planes, many suspended, plus many fun rides. The kids loved it!

We had no idea what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. So many attractions and things to see and do. We had a 2 year old with us so we left after a couple of hours but we could have stayed much longer. Didn't realize there was more on the 2nd floor and outside until we were leaving.
