We drive from Livonia to visit this gem by the water, and it's always worth the trip. For first timers, this area is where Lake Huron narrows into the blue green waters of the St Clair river. It's a great location for watching massive freighters gliding by through the river and recreational boaters and sailers. The park itself is shaded by ancient oaks and includes a nice ball field, play structure and swings and picnic area with gazebo. The park is well kept. In summer, a vendor sells snack food and beverages. Port-a-johns serve as the only bathrooms. The park is adjacent to the scenic river walk and Huron Lightship, which offers tours for a fee.

The park has a fun castle theme which the kids loved. Lots of shade and BEAUTIFUL, old trees, if you appreciate that sort of thing. There is a memorial there as well. The access to the boardwalk and multiple museums is a plus, and makes for a fun day with the family, while still having time to stop at the beach for a stroll, or have dinner at one of the great restaurants on the water.

We spend several hours in the Park enjoying the beautiful blue lake and the Blue Water Bridge. We felt very safe in this family friendly park.

The bath house was quite clean. It would be nice if there was a water fountain available. The beach was nice, the park area look fun!

Located on the coast of the river near and with the view of the Blue Water Bridges. The grass is very green, there is almost always a game being played at the baseball field every night in the spring and summer complete with a hotdog stand. There are several cute little squirrels, chipmunks, seagulls and Canada geese flying around. There is a small area near the water where kids and teens can skateboard, and it connects with the boardwalk that extends along the entire park all the way to the Blue Water Bridges. There are pretty little peace gardens and the Port Huron Lightship museum there as well.

It's nice about 2 miles from downtown Port Huron on Lake Huron. Great for family get togethers and children. Water depth is shallow . Lifeguards and marked swimming area.

This lovely park is so pleasant I have made a point of driving through it every day. There are gardens, excellent views of the St Clair River at all seasons, a ball diamond with new seating, bathrooms, and a new sales booth. Good benches, walkways, grills, and picnic tables, a beautiful collection of swings and toys. The original Huron Light Ship museum is moored at the north end of the park. It is part of the Port Huron Museum (and there is a small charge to tour it).

Many people fish from the walkway and hundreds walk this park daily. The views of the Bridge and the rapid river are amazing. Different looks for every atmosphere! Intriguing to all ages.

This park is perfect for anyone of any age. Boat watching is abundant. Great place for an evening stroll or a jog. Has a park for kids with something always going on. For divers and fishers its a great place to go and play. I enjoy being able to go sit down at the waterway with a notebook and just relax.

I walk for exercise, and regularly visit Pine Grove Park. The Huron lightship (pictured) and a great variety of stairways, sidewalks, ramps and pathways give plenty of places to get in a good and interesting walk -- all withing 5 minutes of my car.
