There's a lovely path under the bridge and it's across from a museum. We enjoyed a lovely walk on a hot humid day after lunch at one of the local restaurants and then had dessert at Freighter's over looking the water.

A great view of a great bridge. The park under the bridge is a great place for pictures and a great walk. The bridge looks great at night all lit up The Edison museum is located across the street.

Amazing view of Lake Huron and the river, not to mention the excitement of knowing a different country was on the other side. The toll agents were friendly enough, but customs can be a bit harsh.

The bridge is beautiful to look at and we walked along the river underneath it. It made for great pictures at sunset.

The Blue Water Bridge boasts a stunning view of both Lake Huron and the St. Clair River. It crosses at the end of Lake Huron. The riverfront on the MI side has all been restored and is a wonderful area for walking, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. Crossing the bridge is about $3.50 each way and if you time it... More

Out of the 5 great lakes, Lake Huron is my favorite! The blue water is mesmerizing. So many ships pass each day and they are very close to shore. There is ample parking and a lovely boardwalk. There is a park and a Lion's concession stand. Oh, and you also might be lucky enough to catch a local ball game... More

What a wonderful pastime - watching traffic on this beautiful structure while at the same time seeing huge freighters pass under it. Be sure to take a leisurely walk along the river in the evening to see the blue lights at their best.

Even though there was some construction going on, the bridge is still an engineering marvel. Added to the park and grounds with beautiful gardens it was a wonderful experience. We stayed at the Hilton Doubletree which overlooks the bridge. What a treat. We usually only see it as we drive over and this time was special. When you come across... More
