We've been coming up here to play for many years. Always been impressed with the staff and the beautiful course. Decent rates during the week , a few pace of play issues but overall enjoyable. However noticed a changes the last couple years. Rate increase and staff friendliness has taken a hit. Don't feel as welcome nor appreciated as in the past. Great course but probably wont be returning . Sad to see .

Have played in a charity outing here for five years running now. Always a pleasure! It’s a bit of a drive from GR but makes for a nice getaway for the day. Course has always been well-cared for, immaculately kept. Make it a day and enjoy!

We have been many times over the years ( before it was popular and packed 😀). We take all friends when they come to visit. No houses on the course and it wanders through beautiful woods, valleys, and hills. It is in immaculate condition with some great views. The course is setup very fair. If you play the back tees it is a great test but the other tees are fair as well. Great course for women. Most have good size landing areas from all sets of tees. 3 of the par 4s you can go for the green (but trouble if you miss), the par threes are all very interesting and the par fives are set up great. Tough to get there in two. For the money you can’t find a better track. Great practice area, nice pro shop, small sandwich area, and some of the best employees anywhere. Encountered 4/5 people from starter to pro shop guy, cart kids, counter person all of which were very nice and ALL, thanked us for coming. I put this in the same category as Bay Harbor, Harbor Shores, and Arcadia without Lake Michigan for less than half the price. P. S. I was in the business and the couple we took are still in the business so we know golf. Very impressive experience.

My favorite course in West Michigan. What a bargain price you pay for the beauty and conditions they give you in return along with some really good golf holes. A few can be challenging but to me this a fun course. Wide fairways and large greens can be forgiving, but don't stray too far, the woods here might as well be hazards. Wonderful course.

My wife and I ended up playing this course 22 times this year( 9 holes)Last several times with the cooler weather in October and our last day of November 1 there were less than three or four people on the whole course and we saw several deer and turkey again.
Was told by a fine young man (Dylan)working that the starters shack was a Ensley Center outhouse and the bigger old building at the 18th tee was to be the rest room at the 14 the green but they couldn't get it there( also from Ensley center) There are so many deer here that he said perhaps the owners may let out people they know to hunt after the course closes.
Yea we spent a little over $600 for the whole season here and enjoyed every time out

Great layout, great shape, played in about 4 1/2 hours and it was very enjoyable. The routing is scenic and challenging. The greens are very undulated adding to the challenge. Play this course if you're anywhere in the vicinity and you will find it definitely worth it.

We only get to play here a couple of times a year, but only because it's a 1.5 hour drive from where we live. It's well worth the drive.
This is a beautifully designed course, and it is maintained in excellent condition. It's hard, but fair. There are lots of trees, and enough water, and sand traps galore. But the traps have recently been filled with new sand which is very fine and consistent. Your cart has a bucket of practice balls in it so you can go across the drive and warm up if you want to.
One of the best things about this course is the people who work there. They are all excellent at customer service, and you will feel pampered. The starter, George, got us off early, which we really appreciated.
We are seniors, and it cost us $40 to play here, which we feel is very reasonable for a course of this excellence. We are looking forward to a chance to return.

Tucked away and off the beaten path is a little piece of heaven called Pilgrim's Run Golf Course. We've played here several times and have found course conditions always impeccable. The staff--from the head professional right down the kids that help unload your club--are friendly and helpful. PRGC offers a number of special rates available throughout the week and the season. In addition, this course offers several teeing areas--so it's female friendly, it's senior citizen friendly, it's "I hit from the back tees only" friendly. Something for everyone and always a challenge. We've played all over the United States and Ireland and Pilgrim's Run is in our "top ten" list of places to chase that little white ball. One of the reviewers mentioned that it's hard to find. NOT. It's just a few miles off the expressway and it is in the "middle of nowhere" but EASY to find (follow the directions on their website or use your GPS)--no large cities, no city noise, no planes/trains/automobiles zooming around or over the course--like I said earlier, a little piece of heaven.

Found Pilgrim's Run when searching the web from Denver, CO. Found it again when I got off the beaten path. Note: off the beaten path is where most of the best courses reside. Pilgrim's Run is no exception. Very well designed. Loved the big, sweeping views of each hole from the tee boxes. Great use of landscape. Every hole had its own personality, risk/reward and challenges to the game. Michiganders are probably accustomed to the amount of trees on the course. The forest-like feel was a welcome feature to this Colorado traveler. Every hole provided a sense of privacy. The green fees are proportionate to the quality. I felt like I got what I paid for. Add this one to your bucket list of Michigan courses.

The grounds were kept up and the staff was real friendly. This was our first upscale golf course. It was evening when we went and the views are worth the price, along with the challenging course.
