Was really surprised by the rudeness of a server. She sarcastically referred to a relationship between price and the number of grapes per bottle. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Leelanau Cellars was a great stop along our scenic M-22 drive down the Leelanau Peninsula. The tasting, surprisingly, is complementary unlike many of the other wineries in the area. The bottles of wine were also very reasonably priced. This winery offered a large variety of wines as well, particularly sweet wines. I would definitely recommend a stop a Leelanau Cellars.

I'm not a sweet wine person, so I really wasn't expecting much when I went wine tasting in Michigan. However, their Sleeping Bear Red is surprisingly good for a Michigan dry wine. Their pinot was good as well. Their tasting room is gorgeous, and their staff friendly and knowledgeable, so it's definitely worth the drive to see and taste what... More

One of my favorite wineries in all of Michigan. Over 40 different wines, lots of variety. Best of all, wine tasting is complimentary and no 5 or 6 tastings limit. Wine is very good, many from $6-10 per bottle, 20% discount on 3 or more cases. Winery staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Great views of Omena Bay.... More

Leelanau has a wide variety of wines from sweet to dry and a nice variety of whites and reds. Cal handled our wine tasting and he was very helpful and pointed out which wines we might like based on our personal taste. The tasting room also has a nice view of the lake.

Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the wines here. The Tasting Hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. The wine tastings are free (for 4 or 5.....can't remember). The Tasting Room is absolutely, gorgeous, with tall ceilings and overlooking the water. There are some nice wine-related gifts if you're wanting to add things like that to your purchase.

This winery had many sweet wines. Everyone that I tried, I liked. The View while tasting is extraordinary, overlooking the bay.

If you like like wine this is a great place. It was the only winery we visited in 2 days that didn't charge for wine tasting. You can choose 5 wines to try. The prices we also very good. We got a case for about what we paid for 6-8 bottles elsewhere.

Went on a wine tour with two girlfriends & this winery was amazing! Our tour had 9 people along with other visitors present in the facility but we were made to feel like we were the only ones there. Well attended to, knowledgeable & friendly staff in an absolutely beautiful location right on the water! Brought home some great wine... More
