This is the best riding stable around! Beautiful horses, great staff & lovely trails. These horses are treated so well which makes for a really nice ride. Maybury Riding Stable does it RIGHT! Great to horses=great time for riders! :)

Extremely disappointed in my experience at Maybury Riding Stable. I made an appointment for a private ride (2 people + trail guide) and was told we would be able to trot part of the time since we were experienced riders. We trotted for about five seconds total, not exaggerating. For $130 for a 40 minute ride, I expected to be able to do what I was told over the phone (trot for at least a couple minutes on different parts of the trail). It was a waste of money and I will not be coming back here. I gave it 2/5 because they did provide helmets, the horses were well-behaved, and they took pictures of us on the horse before we left. If this is your first time riding or you're scared of horses, this place is good for you.

A small group of friends and I decided to go horseback riding for a fun Saturday early afternoon activity, and we are glad we did! The entire process was easy and fun! We arrived at 11 am, as we read it is a first come first serve activity. We had completed our waivers prior to our arrival so it was just a matter of paying for our ride and waiting until noon when open rides begin. As a result we relaxed under a tree in the shade at a picnic table until it was time to ride. Our group was called and we were provided with both group and individual instruction. We each were assigned to our horses. Each was beautiful and very well maintained and behaved. Our guides were also very helpful on the trail and made the ride fun. The ride itself is about 45 minutes from beginning to end. They also took pictures of us individually prior to the start of our ride, with my cell phone. Please note you are not allowed to have your phones or cameras with you during the ride. The trail itself is very pretty and relaxing. I would highly recommend this activity!!!!

Saw their sign for riding stable, and so glad I stopped. I actually just wanted to get information for a future visit. They were getting a group ready, and took two of us along. It was a 45 minute trail ride. My horse kept wanting to get leaves off trees along the path. I need to get out more often. Nice trails, a few hills, GREAT staff! I recommend everyone get there family and friends to Maybury!

The guides were very helpful and friendly. This was my first experience riding a horse and I really enjoyed it. They taught us how to guide the horses as well as how to properly position our bodies when going downhill and uphill.
