Been Geo caching and last visit was for daughters pictures. Great buildings, and neat History. Fall colors are spectacular. Make sure to head all the way to the back for a nice view of the lake and waterfall.

I came here with my family - it's such a charming historical village. Very cute and tucked away, with well labeled buildings and nice grounds. There's a playground right next to it, so this would be a great place to bring a picnic and hang out with the family for an afternoon.

My son and my new daughter-in-law were married in the chapel at Mill Race Village. What a wonderful setting for such an event. Many photos were taken of the bridal party throughout the village.

We spent an hour exploring the village on Sunday. There are docents in each of the buildings on Sunday afternoons in the summer. It was interesting to learn the history of the buildings and the area. It is free to visit-donations are also accepted.

If you like Greenfield Village you should visit the Historical Village in Northville. It is smaller, but very beautiful and holds the same historic charm. I lived in Northville for 2 years before I knew it was there so it is a bit of a hidden gem.

This is a small historical village that has been put together consisting of building that were once a part of the area, from various settings. They have been deconstructed and moved here and then reconstructed for display or a replica has been built from pictures of the original building that could not be moved for one reason or another. Great spot to check out a little local history, or just to relax and walk around. Docents are very knowledgeable.
