Hard to know how to rate a beach. This is just a nice relaxing place to walk along and look out to the Atlantic. Not likely you’ll sunbathe here but lots of people have made heart shapes out of pebbles with their lovers initials inside.

We took the bus from Saint Martin which was just over half an hour and well worth the trip. The sea was lovely and warm and we had fun in the waves. Beautiful beach and you can see for miles more beautiful beach.

A stunningly beautiful beach well worth a visit. Right at one end of Ile de Re. A bit desolate but lovely all the same.

Better than Plage Gros Jonc as always much quieter. Definitely worth the trip and you can see the lighthouse whilst you are there. Lots of different places to enter the beach from and picnic spots on the dunes behind. Can drive there and park for...More
