Anjou Sport Nature is a wonderful; day trip experience.located about 45 minutes from Angers, it is well worth the drive. We did the "zapping" package which included kayaking, archery and accrobranching (when you do a rope course high up in the trees but you are strapped into a safety harness for protection). I gave the "zapping" package to my mother as a s Mother's Day present because she had mentioned how much she like kayaking. She loved Anjou Sport Nature and asked me to post an excellent review for her!

We found the brochure for this place so decided to give it a go. Friendly and helpful staff on arrival. We arrived around midday so the kids tried the pedalos for 30 mins which wore them out. Then they tried the Accrobranche which involves an excellent instruction session in the use of the carabinas and off they went up the trees for about two hours. There are different colour levels for difficulty and the instructors always keeping an eye on things . http://anjousportnature.com/ You could easily amuse the kids for a few days.

I went in the summer of 2023. Very nice surprise. It was very hot and the course was in the trees. Very shady circuit. Remember: mini hike to return when you are exhausted...
