This is a magical place! We spent three days at chateau Ladausse and we felt so lucky for meeting Diane and Eric, such kind and loving hosts! The castle is very charming and the whole place is lovely, the whole dream you would be longing to live for a good break! Everything is perfect as well as warming and welcoming and you feel very good looked after and at home !
You will have plenty to do to relax and enjoy your time, plenty of walks, swimming pool and a lot of places to find out around!
Diana is a great cook as well as kind person and whenever you go for a meal or for a long stay we would strongly recommend not to miss out this amazing place and the chance to have a true holiday! You would not want to leave after you have seen this !

Eric and Diane were perfect hosts. Diane’s culinary skills demonstrated her passion for the craft. The plating was always picture worthy. We enjoyed a lovely turkey dinner with many others who lived near.

Eric was willing and able to share his knowledge of the area, of wines and history. You did not have to go far to get your answer on most any topic.

We visited the Lascaux caves as well a true experience and a must see!

What a beautiful experience at Chateau Ladausse! Diane and Eric are the owners and they add to the charm of the chateau.
The chateau is in a beautiful private area—the estate is rather large with the chateau itself having ~6-8 guest rooms, in addition to a large kitchen, seating area, salon, garden, pool, and more!
The decorations are a mix of modern and classic from the paintings that cover the walls to the furniture and appliances. We were extremely pleased with appliances such as the sink, shower, toilettes, etc. as they were modern and worked great.
When it comes to food, we definitely recommend asking Diane about attending one of her dinners—she cooks these dinners herself with some sous chefs and the meal is amazing! Very fresh ingredients done in a fine-dining yet simple way. For breakfast, a standard French breakfast is included which was croissants, fruit, jam, bread, and coffee or tea. If you want to opt in to a larger breakfast with eggs, crepes, etc. that is an extra cost.
The pool in the back of the estate is great. There are several chairs to use to lounge on and the pool feels very exclusive as all that surrounds you is nature.
The city center of Monflanquin is about a 10 minute drive away. The city is beautiful and there are shops and restaurants to choose from.
Definitely recommend Chateau Ladausse for a magical/ romantic/ unique experience in a beautiful part of France!

We stayed in the chateau for two nights and had an absolutely fantastic time. Erik and Diana are fantastic hosts whom are extremely attentive yet relaxed. The chateau itself is magnificent and our room was probably the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Food is delicious and prepared by Diana and her team.

I would highly recommend for a stay, whether to relax or explore the surrounding area and you must try some of the food!

We contacted Diane via email to request joining a dinner they might be planning, and lucked out that they were while we traveled in the area. We met several other couples and guests of the chateau, and had the best time. The dinner and hospitality were exceptional, and the setting under lights in their courtyard of the chateau - you could not ask for anything better. Contact them and inquire - you'll love it!!!

We crashed, sort of, a wine tasting dinner with five others. Eric did a Bordeaux-Burgundy pairing tasting, and Diane provided a delicious meal. Both were charming and fun hosts. Would be a great getaway for a week. This was spectacular

We loved our trip to Chateau Ladausse and can't wait to go back. It's unbelievable how much energy and effort Eric and Diane put into our visit and making sure we were taken care of while there. I couldn't be happier with our visit. It's a different experience than Paris and made our vacation feel like two trips in one. We sure missed Diane's cooking after we left-she is a top chef! Our time with them has been life-changing, just wonderful.
