The dog beach is terrific. Best spot around for an active dog to have some fun in the fresh water. Parking is plentiful. Just don't let the kids wander back into the woods away from the beach, as they may encounter some surprising activities.

I brought my dog here so she could spend the day off leash playing in the water. If you don't want to share the beach with dogs, don't come here! People seemed to do their best to keep their dogs on the "dog side" of...More

This is the place you (and others) bring their dogs to the beach!! Loved watching the dogs playing and chasing in the water. Some very impressive Canine swimmers and God looking pups show up here!! Get your dog on!!

We knew there was an AREA designated for dogs at this park, we wrongly assumed there were non dog areas. When we first arrived, there was one lady walking 3 dogs on the beach on leash. While I noticed they weren't in the designated dog...More

When I go to heaven, I want it to be just like Kruse Park. There are all kinds of dogs playing in harmony in the beautiful fresh lake and a soft breeze keeps dogs and people alike cool. I love to go here without my...More

This used to be my favorite beach but is now over-ridden with dogs (dog beach at northern end.). Also, the dune walk is broken on several places and was just boarded up instead of repaired. Disappointing.

We live a few miles from this park and is the one that many of the locals use as it is a hidden gem. The best part is that despite being above the water there is a w/c ramp that will take you down to...More

The Doggie Beach is fairly close to the parking lot. There is a nice boardwalk with ramps & stairs leading to the beach area. Plenty of beach area for the dogs to enjoy the sand & surf! It would be nice if there was a...More

I would like to know how many steps are on the stairs in Kruse Park in Muskegon, MI?

There are A LOT. I didn't count them, and there are too many to guess. If you're worried about being able to make it up and down the stairs, just know they also have handicap accessible ramps in addition to the stairs.
