Went to a concert here. Well organized, clean, friendly. Could easily see the stage. Great food trucks and parking available.

Shoreline Jazz Festival 2019
Aug 2019 • Couples
Went to Alexander Zonjic’s Shoreline Jazz Festival for the Saturday show. Tremendous venue with excellent sound. Around 2,000 were spread out over the grounds, enjoying the music. Venue easily accommodated the crowd and could have handled another 2K rather easily. Nice views of Muskegon Lake behind us.

Beautiful park!
Jul 2019 • Friends
This park is host to several large festivals during warmer weather. It also features a large canopied stage, kids play area and the dock for the Great Lake cruise ships.

Great park with wild life!
Jun 2018 • Solo
On a whim I borrowed a kayak and decided to go pan fishing. I really didn’t need the kayak because they have a good sized fishing platform/pier. I wanted to cross to the other side of the bay. The pier is big enough to host several people and good for families with younger kids. There are all kinds of wildlife if you look. I saw 2 different Grey cranes, Ducks, Geese, frogs everywhere and more. Kids into nature will enjoy it. Especially if you are lucky enough to be around after hatching. There is a nice launch and a few pavilions for eating under cover near the beach. If your up for a hike the trails are easy to moderate. The one thing I noticed was how inconsiderate people are leaving trash and the occasional fishing line and hooks laying around. This would be a nice afternoon trip to blow off the winter dust and get outside.

Beautiful location for the Michigan Irish Music Festival
Sep 2018 • Couples
I don't know how this park is on a normal day, but it was a perfect place for this festival. It's on the water, has lots of shade, a play area, and looks like it would be a peaceful place to hang out. I strongly recommend visiting it during the Michigan Irish Music Festival. It's a great time, with incredible music, food, libations, and other activities. A gem in Muskegon!

Rust site to community treasure
Jul 2018 • Couples
Standing in this incredible space, it is hard to imagine it was once the site of a cast-iron foundry, now long gone. Years ago, in the 80's, community leaders realized the potential of cleaning up this rust-belt site, and it is now a favorite place for weddings, for festivals, and every day play and fishing. Also Lake Michigan cruise ships dock here throughout the summer.

Spectacular views!
Oct 2017 • Couples
This is where they hold concerts and where the cruise ships dock. It is a great place for a picnic or just take your bike to rest and relax. It is very close to downtown so an easy stop while you are in town.
