On a whim, my husband and I visited the museum. The collection of stills and bottles of all sorts were really interesting. But, the shop connected to the museum is the real treat. The proprietor was very patient and gracious with us as we asked many questions in broken French. He was passionate about the spirits and let us sample quite a few varieties. The shop has some rare varieties, including celery Eaux de Vie. We bought several small bottles and wished we had room in luggage to buy more!!

We enjoyed the visit, guided tour within including a spirits' tasting, each of us could choose their own drink: pastis, distillate of grapes, cherries, pears etc..., so we made a great deal here and bought a lot of bottles like liqueurs, pure distillates and other gifts to present to our beloved not attending the tasting ( = degustation)....

The museum has a fine collection of different stills and devices for destilling of spirits. They also seem to have collected bottles of every possible (and impossible) kind of spirits from all over the world (full size and miniature).
The shop connected with the museum is very good. We tasted - and bought - the best eau de vie de poire William, we have ever tasted.

Absolute highlight! Interesting exhibition. Very nice service. Nice beers on offer (you can also sit there and have a drink) and of course great schnapps. Highly recommended!
