Blue Cave and Hvar Tour - 5 Islands Tour from Split and Trogir

It can be difficult to travel independently between Croatian islands, but this small-group tour makes it hassle-free to see all in one day. Visit natural sights like the Blue Cave, Budikovac Island, and Stiniva Bay. Swim and snorkel with provided equipment in the clear waters of the Adriatic. Take time to sightsee on Hvar Island and in the town of Komiza.

Cool swimming cave. Underwater is so pretty, above is pretty cool, but under was just lovely. The green effect is small but also cool.

We went there in our charter yacht early one morning. We snorkelled from our yacht into the cave and our adult children enjoyed diving down as the visibility is amazing. There were schools of colourful small fish. We had the cave to ourselves for a while - it was incredibly peaceful and wondrous. Other people started to arrive so we swam back to our yacht and left.

We did a full day tour and visiting the green cave was part of it. It is beautiful but we were the only ones on our boat to elect to pay the 50 kuna to enter. You can only enter if you swim in and the water is all kinds of green. When the light from the hole in the top of the cave hits the water it is stunning. In and out in15 minutes max we enjoyed it and thought we only come once so why not and it was great.

We rented a private boat to spend the day visiting the sights and islands in split, Croatia. The only disappointing part of the day was the visit to the green cave. Our boat was large, so we had to change to their small boat to enter the cave. Inside it's a circle of green light in the water...people were jumping out of their boats to swim so you really couldn't see it because everyone was swimming over it! Then they would swim back to their boats which were smaller, so they were able to park them closer to the cave. Our boat was larger, so it would have been too far a distance for us to swim to it. We sat there a few minutes watching people tread water over the green circle and we left. Unless you want to swim on the green light in the cave, this was a waste of time. Not impressive at all, especially after having visited the blue cave which was beautiful! I would not waste the time it takes to get there when there are so many great places to visit!
