There is an impressive number and types of art in this gallery. It's spread over several old colonial homes which makes the architecture another type of art on display.

Much bigger than I thought. They have a very interesting collection and they change it regularly I think. It's worth the $2 with mix of local and international art.

This museum is housed in several buildings (one across the street from the others) which themselves are beautiful to see, with central courtyards etc. The art is very eclectic spanning many centuries and when I was there (May 2016) there was an exhibition on Miro...More

We spent a couple hours wondering through this gallery. It was bigger than we expected and enjoyed discovering Central American artists. Good value for price of admission. Entrance fee on Sundays is a donation of your choice.

An excellent selection of contemporary Latin American art plus a nice selection of both colonial and Modern Nicaraguan art. All of this in an open air museum surrounding lovely garden atriums. (Leading to the question of how they prevent the humid air from destroying everything)....More

This museum provides a great collection of art from Central American artists. What's odd is that you can't take pictures of any art but they also have sunlight shining right down on the art. Also the gallery has a large collection of art from Joan...More

This was part of our tour organised by Imagine Latin America. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The museum is well worth a visit, spread across 4 large haciendas and beautifully exhibited artwork.

This museum has an amazing world-class contemporary art collection. I was stunned by the quality of the works and represented artists. While the work on display is excellent, the galleries are open air and not climate controlled so some of the pieces are already showing...More

This museum is housed in two beautiful colonial homes across the street from each other so keep your ticket for the second house. This is the best collection of Latin American artwork in Nicaragua. When we were there, there was a special exhibit of quite...More
