It's beautiful inside and the murals are breathtaking...even if you are not religious. The views from the rooftop are lovely and a must to do if you are visiting the Cathedral anyway.

Well worth seeing, this cavernous church has an imposing and impressive exterior and a surprisingly detailed interior, which is unusual for Central America. Right on the main city square, there are hawkers surrounding the cathedral, which adds to the atmosphere.
