I went on a day trip with a small group to the lagoon. We got picked up at the hostel and drove to the very secluded and silent lagoonspot. It was really great! Hammocks, warm water (!), Tubes and some other activities (zip line, Tarzan swing). We chilled out, swam in the lagoon, had some beers and it was all good fun! Anry knows so much about the country, Sarah makes a great lunch and both of them are a good laugh. It was a really relaxed day, if I had stayed in Leon longer I definitely would've gone again. You just feel like you're away from everything and you can really relax. Anry just started when I joined on the tour, he has big plans for expanding activities and chill areas, so can't wait to see what it becomes! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing day, with great hospitality and knowledge. It's a beautiful spot to spend the whole day combinated with a some fun adventure. From swimming in the perfect lake till napping in the hammock with the perfect view, and let's not forget the perfect swing set where the view makes you daydream for the rest of the week! It would be a shame if you would not spend a day at lake Asososca with Origin Adventure when you are in Nicaragua.I will be back, thanks for everything!

The Asososca lagoon was simply beautiful. The water was so blue, and we had a great view of the volcano. There are so many different ways to enjoy it as well! Whether it's relaxing in a tube, floating out on a little boat, hiking around, or chilling in the hammocks; you will definitely have a great day. The food that Martin and Casamiro prepared for us was absolutely delicious! They made us chicken with fresh vegetables and rice. (They even started the fire by using only wood!) Sarah also had plenty of drinks and snacks ready for us whenever we wanted them. Unfortunately we were unable to meet Anry as he had to be somewhere else that day. However, from what we learned during our time there, Sarah and Anry are both incredible people! They truly care deeply about preserving the environment around the lagoon. Sarah was such a great person and had so many stories to tell and things to teach us about Nicaragua. We can't wait to return and see what they've done with the place over time!

Excellent day of trekking climbing Asososca volcano, being among the first to use guide Martin’s trail up . Even though the trail could be Improved,(Slippery especially on steep parts) , the way up offered spectacular views on the lagoon and Managua lake and the surrounding volcanos. you reach the top after roughly 2 and a half hours, rewarded with a breathtaking view and a glass of vino tinto and local cheese! Unique. The way down ends at Origin’s park on Asososca Lagoon where a delicious meal ( grilled chicken , veggies and salad) and a sensational dip in the emerald lagoon. Our hosts , Henry (who went up with us ) and Sarah where fantastic and really showed us their devotion to durable development and eco responsibility. We have not seen better . You have to go there,

Thanks for your wonderful review Alain, and for the photos! We love the photo of you and Martin drinking wine at the top of Asososca volcano. Thanks again for your feedback - we are planning to build some steps to make the path less slippery. Well done for taking on a brand new hike!

My friend and I jumped at the chance to visit Origin Adventure Park after meeting Anry and Sarah at Fortress Friday, both because we’d heard how gorgeous Asososca was, and because it seemed so cool to check out a place before it was complete. Three others from the fortress decided to come too. Seriously, can’t express enough how secluded and pristine this place is, and it’s going to be so cool as they continue to develop it. I love the idea of a totally sustainable lodge, too. Anry and Sarah and a few others (sorry—not sure I remember names!) set up hammocks on the absolutely stunning crater lake, with a cooler of cold beers just in reach. We spent all day long swimming around, trying to catch little fish, lounging in hammocks, and laughing. We got to try out their zip line, rappel, and swing, which were all too much fun. I hate heights but felt completely reassured and in good hands. The tarzan swing was probably my favorite! My friend and I had mentioned to Anry the day before that one of the things we had missed out on was trying a Nacatamale. Well, these were delivered to us at the crater lake! Super yummy but needed a nap after eating. At night, we got to row out in a little boat under the stars. We all debated staying all night in the hammocks, but in the end, realized we’d all paid for hostels. I had an early morning flight, and Anry and Sarah took us to a nearby bus stop and stayed until we were in a shuttle headed to Managua. They’re really the sweetest! Super, super lovely last full day in Nicaragua; I’m already planning a trip back to this country, and will 100% be coming back to Origin.
