This is a great boat trip as long as the weather cooperates. It can get very rough, but they are good at communicating this and letting you cancel or rebook. We did the sunset cruise and it was very nice. If you want the top deck seating you need to arrive very, very early. The only place you can stand... More

The tour lasts 2.5 hours and you don't see any of the pictured rocks until about 40 min in. The next hour or so is great, and then the boat turns around and heads back. Sit on the right side to see the rocks going out and on the left to see them on the return. Also, if you're on... More

I went on this trip with my mom and my 4 year old son. It was very beautiful and the captain was very informative. It is well worth the money. It is a great place to make and meet new friends. The pictures I took do not do this place justice. Can't wait to go back!!!

We booked a Spray Falls cruise that left in the late afternoon/evening & found this to be a once in a lifetime experience. This is one of the best ways to appreciate the beauty of this region & especially the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Pictures do not do the sights justice and this cruise allowed you to experience the lake/formations... More

A very enjoyable cruise along the Pictured Rocks. The staff was excellent and everything from ticketing to boarding and disembarking ran smoothly.

This a great experience. The Pictured rocks consist of layers of limestone interspersed with layers of copper, iron and other metals that cause the colours to form as they oxidize and run down the cliff face. We were lucky with the weather and it was calm and the captan took the boat very close to the rocks and inside some... More

We took the Spray Falls sunset ride, absolutely beautiful. Get in line well before your scheduled time for a seat on the top deck 😕 Once the cruise is underway you can move to the lower deck and stand at the back of the boat for pictures. The ride is fairly smooth, narrated. Next time we may take the ride... More

We did the sunset cruise. We arrived around 5:30 & there were already several folks standing in line. We headed for the top but by the time we got up there all of the seats near the side of the boat were full. We decided to move downstairs and sit near the open windows. Again, the right side was full... More

We took the spray falls tour for the first time on an afternoon (2pm) cruise and altho the weather wasn't ideal (not sunny) the Pictured Rocks was still a magnificent sight to see. We were absolutely amazed at the rock formations, caves, cliffs and waterfalls that we experienced in the 30+ miles, that took roughly 2.0 hrs. Well worth the... More
