Had a great time! The only advice is if you are prone to seasickness, better stay in back of boat. And bring a barf bag! Someone got sick on our ride and the captain cleaned it up efficiently, but the rocking while he was cleaning was making other people sick. And be prepared to get wet. This seems like it was way more fun than the traditional boat ride to see Pictured Rock. It combined a tour plus a crazy fun ride.

Lots of fun. Loved the fact we able to get so close to the caves and go partially inside. Captain Tim was awesome at making our ride very exciting and safe! Would definitely recommend going on The Riptide!!

So glad I read the reviews and went with this family owned business vs the commercial business. Super friendly, informative & not packed on the boat like sardines! Captain Tim was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, history & fun facts! I really appreciated the steps he took to talk about safety & then double check everyone’s seat belts. Seat belts?? You ask….to spice it up on the super fast boat he did spins so be prepared to get wet (everyone). Recommend a poncho. Thank you Capt Tim & Joanie for adding to one of our great adventures along this road trip🙏 Quinn & Tammie (Calif)

SO. MUCH. FUN. !! Loved it. Beautiful gorgeous scenery and a really fun ride. Highly highly recommend! Tips: #1: If you are susceptible to motion sickness, take a Dramamine before according to directions and you’ll be fine. (I am, did, and was 😉) #2: If you sit anywhere near the front (do!!) you WILL get wet. We wore rain coats and draped ponchos over our pants (tucked under us to keep ‘em from flapping in the wind). Worked pretty well. Wear waterproof shoes or water sandals (like Teva). No real way to completely avoid water coming in the scuppers. #3: Dress warm enough. This is a high-speed ride out on the water for over an hour. It gets chilly. It was 65 and sunny the day we went. I was glad to have layers and a hat (hold on to it!).

Riptide Ride was a lot of fun! We had great views that we wouldn’t have had on other tours, learned the history of the area and our entire group of 7 people left the ride smiling and talking about the fun!
