We went by kayak and we are experienced sea-worthy sea-kayakers. The cliffs and caves are fantastic, but dangerous for small boats like kayaks because storms blow in fast on Lake Superior and there are seven miles of cliff shoreline with no place to escape if...More

It's a beautiful place - remote, unspoiled. The beaches have soft golden sand and the limestone cliffs have arches and caves and grottoes formed by the lake.

Wow! As a Michigander, I'd never been here before. It is spectacular. Kayaked as well. Well worth the drive to the UP. Highly recommend a visit here.

Gorgeous shoreline of very colorful cliffs, rock formations, and sandstone caves. Mostly visible by boat or kayak. Go on a sunny day for best photos.
