For those Kdrama Moon Lovers fans, these are the scenery where it was filmed.
From Suwon station, take either one of this bus.2-1,82,83,92,92-1. Please ask the bus driver to let you know where to get off. (I think you get off at New Core outlet) It's on your right. I remembered passing by the police station as I walk Hyowon park. The garden beside the park.

One day in the early morning I left the Highend hotel in Suwon (part of large Seoul). From my hotel window I have noticed a few green areas near my hotel. So, I went to explore them. I was very surprised when I found a few nice parks around the hotel and one of them was a beautiful Chinese garden. The place was designed in a very typical traditional Chinese garden style - with walls, dragons, ponds, and fish. I was strolling there for a few hours and I could not stop - it was so beautiful, empty - almost no visitors, and well maintained. If you are like me, i.e. you like enchanting places, then you should go there and enjoy seeing this place. Perhaps you will find there a Chinese ghost?

Wonderful. A truly peaceful setting amidst the hustle and bustle of every day life. The architecture is stunning, and the sheer peacefulness of the place will take away any stress you have from your life. I went there this evening and loved it. It is conveniently located, very safe and when you get hungry, there are plenty of restaurants near by to help you satisfy your hunger.

You may surprised that there is a Traditional Chinese Garden in the downtown of Suwon City. But yes! Wolhwawon Garden is that one. It's a kind of exchange program between Korea and China. All of the architecture in this garden is the same as in China due to the Chinese workers. You should come here around late afternoon and walk around. After that, you can cross the street in front of the garden to the Dining Street in the evening to enjoy your delicious dinner.

A short walk from our hotel and a pleasant surprise. This Chinese Garden, although small, was very relaxing, particularly when sitting in the pagoda overlooking the main pond. This is where I would come to read a book and/or to have a break from the noise and crowded pavements of the adjacent streets.

This is a beautiful garden that provides a peaceful respite in a busy city. Even in a March visit, when there wasn't much growing, it was a lovely place.

A lovely garden that was well kept.
Located in a larger park, this beautiful garden is a tranquil place for relaxing and just taking a moment to think about life.
