Excellent craftsmanship

This park is the Philippines version of Holy Land. We came over on a Saturday late afternoon, which was the best time to come. Otherwise it would be scorching hot on a typical day in the Philippines. The park is well maintained since it’s opening in 2012. There weren’t many people inside the park. If time allows, we could visit all the statues and landmark spots.

It was religious experience for myself. However, since I’m not familiar with the Bible, I couldn’t relate to the stories the statues were telling. The statues looked so real and vivid. I much appreciate the craftsmanship.

200 pesos entrance fee
Dec 2018 • Couples
If you are coming from Manila , entrance is on your right after the Subic security gates . You have to go to the Total gas station and you will follow a dirt road to the entrance of the compound. There is a guard house and we said that we only wanted to visit the chapel. We were directed to park in front of the chapel . Once inside the chapel there is a lady who will assist you in case you want to go inside and do the walking tour of the whole compound. Fee is 200 per head. We opted not to do that and instead just pray in the beautiful chapel.

Religious Experience
Nov 2018
I have been to the real holy land where you have to use your imagination of what people and things would have looked like. This is an extensive site that has many buildings and life size statues dotted around it depicting scenes of great importance to christianity. The life size statues are beautifully crafted and bring scenes to life. You can follow the stations of the cross up a hill to the top where there are sweeping views of the countryside. A vehicle is available to take people around who cannot or do not wish to walk. We found it a moving experience. It is very near to Subic Bay waterfront.

Promising, if only....
Mar 2018 • Family
Had a pilgrimage with a huge group (about 350 people all in all) and while the video introducing us to the park which we watched at the bus was promising, was quite disappointed when I saw the place.
I'll start with the good things about this place: parking was vast, and the attendants were able to make parking orderly. Entrance fee was minimal and at the onset, we were greeted by staff at the main gate.
Now I'll talk about the cons: first off, the toilets were very minimal. Considering this theme park aims to host hundreds of pilgrims in a day, they would have have provisions for toilets. Instead, there was always a long line next to the events tent where the toilets were - 4 cubicles only for women. There was no flush in the toilet, and guests had to get water with pails from outside the toilet. There was no soap, tissue, dryer in the toilets as well. Next, there was a cafe next to the main gate - but they serve instant coffee, soda and limited food and beverages at very steep prices. it would be better if they added more food options and stalls for diversity. Third, the statues didnt seem well kept as there were already signs of wear and tear. It would have been a very beautiful park if they had more trees and maintained the facilities. Perhaps add vendos or water faucets as the visitors are mostly children and elderly and being very hot on summer months, this can prevent dehydration or heat stroke.
All in all, I'd say I'm glad to have seen this place at least once. But I will not recommend nor come back.

A place to develop
Nov 2017 • Family
Holy Land has a chapel, trail for Mysteries of Holy Rosary and Stations of the Cross. The trail has life size statues depicting each station. Its best for meditation and prayer especially during Holy week. For those w difficulty in walking they provide golf carts for a minimal fee. Comfort rooms are also provided in selected areas. Its a different experience visiting Holy Land Subic. I just hope that they get to maintain and further improve the place.

We visited not on a Holy Week
Apr 2017 • Friends
We came here not on a holy week. We're just curious what can we see here. It has a nice well kept church with a very nice garden and some dioramas of different scenery around the vicinity as you progress to move from one place to another. There is a billboard plan of the whole area for your guide.

A very nice place for recollection and prayers.

A beautiful, tranquil place
Apr 2017 • Family
My family and I were planning to attend a mass in a church somewhere along the way to Bataan before we go swimming. We visited Holy Land on a Sunday and we're quite surprised that there were only a few visitors. There were no masses held at the time we went, so we just prayed at the chapel. The place was peaceful, quiet and beautiful. They also have attractions inside but you need to pay a 220 pesos fee.

Holy Week Visit
Apr 2017 • Family
We went last Good Friday, and it was a good decision since the place is perfect for prayer and recollection of Jesus' story. The place looks small from the outside but really beautiful when you go inside. They also offer golf karts and free shuttle so you can easily tour the whole place. All the staff were friendly and accommodating too! Good job Holy Land Management 😊

A Must Visit for People Looking for a Quiet Place to Pray and Reflect
Jan 2017 • Friends
The name Holy Land Subic can be misleading. It is not a tourist place. It is a pilgrimage site for Catholics who who want to spend a day quietly praying. It is also popularly used as a wedding venue because one has a lovely chapel, a reception venue and accommodations all in one property.

One can explore the grounds with children and make it an exciting story-telling family activity where one can be part of the many Bible story scenes. One can sit with Jesus and the 12 apostles during the Last Supper or be one of the shepherds who visited the Baby Jesus when he was born in a humble stable. Visit during the cool dry months from December to February to enjoy the prayer walk. Just a fair warning-Not all pathways paved so it's best to wear footwear with good traction.

The Holy Land Subic is still a work in progress. This sprawling property is currently building more restrooms to accommodate the many pilgrims who visit this Bible Theme Park. It just finished building a parking area can easily accommodate tourist buses. Tourists who visit are pilgrims whose aim is to have a Day of Prayer.

Lovely chapel and reception area. The rest is still in development but is starting to take shape including a small recreation of lake galilee where you can fish..
