"Great Food, Majestic View"
Jun 2020
This garden restaurant is a must visit place in Ilocos Sur. They offer the best Ilocos cuisine and the garden is a perfect place to roam around and discover different kinds of plants and flowers. This place is perfect for families and group of friends.

Whoa

This is a quaint restaurant with a garden in the middle of the city. The food was great and Paul our server was phenomenal. 10 out of 10 will come again.

Good Food, Affordable Budget
Dec 2019
The place offers big servings of food, so the price is worth it. They have a lot of house plants and herbs that you can also buy as souvenirs or presents. It's spacious and it can accommodate a lot of diners.

Breakfast place
Feb 2020
If you are part of a group tour, this is where you take your breakfast. For the price of over P170++ the foods aren't really appetizing and its even lacking proportion. there was no hungarian sausage so they replaced it with Vienna Sausage but boy did I do them wrong somewhere. I was only served 4 tiny pieces of vienna sausage literally pinky finger size. I am willing to pay 300+ for a proper breakfast buffet but instead they decided to do ala carte with extravagant price. Its a province and all their food ingredients are home-bred which means they do not have to import from other cities. Oh and the place is full of FLIES.

Breakfast at Hidden Garden
Dec 2019 • Family
We have our Vigan tour and part of our itinerary is to have a breakfast at Hidden Garden. The place is nice but I was expecting something authentic Vigan foods. The restaurant is just a typical cafe you can find around a city corner. And they only offer 2 or 3 set of menu for breakfast. The Bagnet is not crunchy and all fats. I don't know if they serve it with sauce coz it's very dry and the only bottle of ketchup on the table is empty. They also run out of ice tea which is included in the meal so our colleague just go for a hot drink. It's understood that foods could be pricey as they are located in a tourist spot but service is not worth it.

A Nice Nursery, But Not a Botanical Garden
Dec 2019
A bit of a ride outside of Vigan, this place is just a nice clean nursery where almost every plant was potted and for sale, rather than a botanical garden with lots of full grown trees and plants. Also pretty short and narrow walking path loop that was crowded near the restaurant; no place to sit and relax like a botanical garden.

Had nice looking restaurant and coffee shop, but we did not eat here. Liked the CR though, which had full glass wall viewing a closed garden area while you relieved yourself.

We would not visit here again.

It all began at Vigan, Hidden Garden
Nov 2019
Are you craving for an Ilocano dish, Hidden Garden is the place to be!!!

One of the most friendly and family felt staff I ever experience.

The area is surround by plants and trees, a restaurant in the middle of a paradise.

The price of food are affordable, couple travelers will get the best price.

Food are serve in big serving, 4 to 5 person but a price for 2.

A must visit and a food to remember.

From Vigan, take a trike at Php 50 to 60 only.

Not so authentic and not fresh
Nov 2019 • Couples
We wanted to try this restaurant because of the good reviews but we were wallowed in disappointment after eating their bagnet, longganisa, and pinakbet. We ordered those three because they’re considered staple Ilokano cuisine. The bagnet seemed to have been prepared a few days ago (not freshly prepared), was not crispy, and kind of bland. The Vigan longganisa also seemed like it was cooked a day or two ago. The pinakbet was overwhelmed with so much ginger making it unpleasant to the taste. All of them were disappointing. I’m not recommending this restaurant!

Disappointed...
Aug 2019
I was SOOOOO looking forward to eating authentic Vigan cuisine since my friends raved about it. But their bagnet didn't have the crunchy skin it is known and the meat was tough. The diningding has insipid as well. What a disappointment and waste of money...
