If you are part of a group tour, this is where you take your breakfast. For the price of over P170++ the foods aren't really appetizing and its even lacking proportion. there was no hungarian sausage so they replaced it with Vienna Sausage but boy did I do them wrong somewhere. I was only served 4 tiny pieces of vienna sausage literally pinky finger size. I am willing to pay 300+ for a proper breakfast buffet but instead they decided to do ala carte with extravagant price. Its a province and all their food ingredients are home-bred which means they do not have to import from other cities. Oh and the place is full of FLIES.

The place offers big servings of food, so the price is worth it. They have a lot of house plants and herbs that you can also buy as souvenirs or presents. It's spacious and it can accommodate a lot of diners.

This garden restaurant is a must visit place in Ilocos Sur. They offer the best Ilocos cuisine and the garden is a perfect place to roam around and discover different kinds of plants and flowers. This place is perfect for families and group of friends.

Good things about Hidden Garden that poked my interest:

1. Free Ginger Tea as welcome drink for the visitor.

2. Small but the space were maximized to cater guests without sacrificing great architecture of views.

3. Foods and Plants for sale.

4. Comfort Room - I love the garden inside.

We have our Vigan tour and part of our itinerary is to have a breakfast at Hidden Garden. The place is nice but I was expecting something authentic Vigan foods. The restaurant is just a typical cafe you can find around a city corner. And they only offer 2 or 3 set of menu for breakfast. The Bagnet is not crunchy and all fats. I don't know if they serve it with sauce coz it's very dry and the only bottle of ketchup on the table is empty. They also run out of ice tea which is included in the meal so our colleague just go for a hot drink. It's understood that foods could be pricey as they are located in a tourist spot but service is not worth it.

The Hidden Garden was a personal venture of a retired engineer, Mr. Francis Flores, and it started out as a sprawling garden. It was opened in1991 to the public, and a few years later, Mr. Flores added a cafe to serve refreshments to garden guests. The Hidden Garden became a secret attraction in Vigan, and we were among the early customers who frequented the place with friends and relatives. Now the restaurant is called Lilong&Lilang, serving a good variety of Ilocano home-cooked food. We highly recommend the Bagnet Sisig, Sinanglao, and Poqui Poqui. Because the place can get pretty crowded, try to come early for brunch, or late for lunch.

Though Vigan is most of the time humid, I still love the ambiance and the artifacts in this place. Their Empanada is far better than all that I've tasted so far. It is better to visit the Hidden Garden in May where the flora is in bloom.
