You can hear this river cutting through the valley miles away & it's rushing water became the back drop of our hike back to Lukla. The best view points are the many bridges that cross crossing.

Dudh Koshi River flows through the Sagarmatha National Park and accompanies you during most of the journey to EBC. The crystal clear water adds on to the beauty of the river. There are several hanging bridges in the lower elevations that needs to be crossed during your journey.

We followed this river all along our trek to Pangboche. It's really beautiful. I especially enjoyed going over the suspension bridges above it. Lots of travelers on the trail at this time of the year. Bring a buff to keep out the dust.

The Dudh Koshi is one of the main rivers draining the Everest region. It flows up from near Lukla before north west just below Tengboche. The valley walls can get very steep and there are a series of suspension bridges which traverse the river the most spectacular being Larja Bridge which is just before the steep climb begins up to Namche Bazar.

If you are doing the Everest Base Camp trek from Lukla to EBC, you will follow the path of the Dudh Koshi river, crossing it several times on suspension bridges as you make your way up the valley towards EBC.

It's beautiful, a bright turquoise colour, and you'll descend to it several times along the trek before climbing again as you go from one village to the next along the route.

all night. The beautify turquoise blue waters. The rushing and crashing of water over rocks and turns. It is a sight to behold and treasure the fact that you had the chance to view it. Always cold.
