If you are on Taketomi island- you should explore the whole thing! The island is so small, that it is inevitable that you will come across these style homes. Beautiful addition to the already beautiful nature!!

Pleasant stroll around the historic settlement of the island. Spend about 2-3 hours enjoying the streets full of traditional Okinawan architecture. Avoid the buffalo cart ride. It is expensive and short. Anyway, you'll see them while walking around.
